Sounds like a good fit, will it be base game or with added in Rise and Fall?

EDIT: I guess the above post answers the question, I wonder if/when they'll release the expansion for the Switch.

Oh no don't tell me that was the city builder with the earthquake moment?

(Civ VI is huge and i'm still very excited, but i hoped that rumored game was an actual city builder)

Indeed a big big shocker, Civ used to get biiiiiiiiiiiig problems CPU-wise on big maps where you've discovered all competing civilizations... I wonder if they've made good progress on optimization or will just limit the scope...

Portable Civ is somewhat big... noooow Paradox.... there's a certain game i love, Crusader Kings 2.... and you see ...

Wow! I loved IV and V and am definitely exited to see the recent entry heading to Switch! Great fit. To play this at night in the bed will affect my sleeping habits...just one more round!

Man, I always thought the lack of grand strategy on the Wii U was a missed opportunity, so hoo boy I'm excited for this. Given the lack of presence on other platforms too, I can't but feel they must be leaning into the control inputs to justify bringing it to Switch but not the other hardware. That or Nintendo tossed them some money for it.

Either way, excited!

They might just limit map size and number of civs.

I think Paradox games are a fair bit more CPU intensive though, so they'd be a bigger struggle to port.
