So tucked away at the bottom of the recent 'Year in Review' emails being sent out by Sony is a list of games to look forward to this year, and to cap off all of the usual suspects is Days Gone.

We've been occasionally hearing it's scheduled for 2018 via off-panel interviews but this just confirms it.

We know. Shu already said at PSX (last month) that Days Gone is a 2018 title.

DREAMS canceled confirmed!

My prediction is that they will be quiet about that until E3 in case it slips into 2019, but if all goes well will be a Fall release.

I thought it was already confirmed for 2018. Guess there was never anything official?

Since last of us 2 is 2019 , it is in Sony's best interest to release this 2018 due to similarity in vibes and setting . I m hopeful that bend studio will surprise us and this is a good title with metacritics above 85

I'm more interested to see if Dreams makes it.

Fingers crossed Ghost is March '19, TLoU2 is June '19 and Death Stranding Nov '19.

If Spider-Man isn't out when the Lord & Miller film releases, someone seriously fucked up.

I am super excited for Days Gone. Binge watching Sons of Anarchy atm so some MC Zombie mayhem sounds good with me.

BUT.

Our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is no where to be seen.

EVERYONE PANIC.

Gonna have to update the thread title to "Spider-Man noticeably absent" OP. Man Sony's marketing for this year has been so weird not a single first party game slated for 2018 has a release date.

I sure hope it's not.

I really don't want it to die just because it has to fight against Call of Duty, Battlefield, etc.

If they've to release it in 2018 i hope it's September/October(early). I would want it to be released in early March 2019.

This is going to flop so hard.
Yeah..no...The next game to show how out of touch some are on this fourm is Days Gone. Horizon was a popular pick to bomb to. It is open world action game, being pushed by Sony's marketing, it's going to do well unless they totally botch the game. According to those who played it behind doors it's looking up. The Hordes , and weather effecting gameplay seem pretty awesome from what Kinda Funny played.

I'm sure Dreams and Spider-Man are both 2018 games... maybe Sony just simply didn't put every releasing games this year in the list.

Surprise about the lack of Spider-Man there, given that the devs are already doing full playthroughs of the game.
This year will be massive for Sony. Holy shit.

I've always been fairly confident it would be. Pushing to 2019 means putting it closer to The Last of Us 2, which probably isn't ideal from a marketing and sales standpoint.

These list are (probably ) made by a marketing team. They never include all of the games and delays are always possible.

To be fair they are saying it's something to look forward to in 2018. If you look forward to the game throughout 2018 it may still come out in 2019.

I always assumed that Days Gone was gonna be 2018. I'm sure Spidey is still coming this year as well.
