Ahh yes, when every game companies and their mother was all drunk on multiplayer co-op on survival horror games kool-aid. I remember this and RE6 having a title race contender for which one is the shittiest, worst survival-horror sequel at that time.

They have to. Even the original DS3 producer said they would re-do it from the scratch, since EA didn't let them create a survivor-horror from the very beginning and re-do the entire writing after the ending of DS2.
