I am a huge Joker fan but was so dissapointed with the original… Maybe I need to rewatch it once more to see if it clicks
To be fair, only well adjusted people with an IQ of over 150 can understand the complex character development of The Joker happening against the backdrop of a renewed marxist struggle with the Wanyian-Burgoise superhero-industrial complex that is also metatextual semiotic of the struggle between arthouse and Adornos Kulturindustry.
