The RUMOR of the plot is that it involves a government-sanctioned Cap (possibly John Walker) who goes insane when his brain breaks down after they attempt to replicate the serum on him and Falcon and Winter Soldier have to save the day, leading to Sam becoming Cap in the end.
I really like this

I wonder if Zemo will get his mask. I remember the concept art from a few years looked alright.

I love the rumor that all these shows and movies post Endgame will address the cliffhanger plotlines.

Only thing more surprising than Agent 13 coming back is that people are genuinely looking forward to her return. D:

I'm not complaining. Peggy was the right choice.

Captain America is probably a shitty boyfriend though.

Hard to turn down America's ass though, Peggy knows its all worth it.

Lol, no one can deny it

That doesn't really make much sense, based on how Endgame ended.

Sharon really got the short end of the stick in the movies, especially when they took so much from the Brubaker comics where she was a central character. So I hope they do right by her here.

Also, I've been a fan of Emily VanCamp since Everwood.

If he never time travelled again after going back to 1948 he's 180 years old on the bench, counting the years on ice.

That's cool. I pictured him having kids and then disappearing when they got around middle-age because it would be weird for their father to look younger than them.

I think this could be one of his kids in Civil War.

Marvel's various television efforts have ranged from average to great, with no real stinkers in the bunch. (Though some got real close.)

This being directly under the Disney production umbrella is gonna be really interesting since it's the closest we will have gotten to proper MCU spin-offs yet.
Iron Fist and the first season of Agents of Shield rest firmly in the "terrible" category though.

i just hope the story here has repercussions that will be felt in the movies as well. i wouldn't like for all these characters to get tv shows just to kind of faze them out and have their stories not really matter in the larger mcu.

All I want is for them to let Anthony Mackie be Anthony Mackie

Go as far as doing improv for most of the dialogue like Iron Man and Ragnarok.

Both Feige and Iger confirmed they will
Be integral part of the MCU and produced by marvel studios and not marvel tv

That Thunderbolts rumor isn't looking so crazy anymore.

Well that guy who leaked it has a impeccable track record so far. Far too good to the point that he has to be a inside guy. I don't think they'd be doing it if they couldn't bring back all those people and I guess they're all on board. I hope it's true I can't wait to see Justin Hammer back in the MCU lol.

Did they update this? Because the article
Says they are in Talks?

it does say that. Dunno if it was edited or not.

Either way, when the Hollywood trades report someone is "in talks," that means it's very, very close to a done deal. There are cases where things have reached that stage and fallen through (on the Marvel side of things, Joaquin Phoenix as Doctor Strange is the big one that comes to mind), but they're very much the exception and not the rule.

The wait is gonna suck because I know this series is gonna be amazing. The chemistry between Mackie and Stan is crazy, add some Zemo and Agent 13 so it's more grounded. I loved the action in Captain Marvel and the recent Avengers movies but there's something about the was these guys fight.

It's gonna also be great if they can make Bucky awesome again. The events after CW were kinda out of his league. This was a guy who was like the terminator and could beat Cap.

My interest in the MCU is lukewarm at best these days but Zemo's return has me intrigued enough to check it out for sure.

That Zemo T'Challa scene in civil war is one of the most powerul in all the MCU. Would love to see more of that.

That doesn't really make much sense, based on how Endgame ended.

Cap basically retired from Avenging after they killed Thanos and he gave up on bringing people back. He wasn't in on the conference call with Widow and she seemed somewhat surprised to see him at the compound. He only returned once they had potential solution with Ant-Man.

The US could have been developing a replacement for the past 5 years.

Ant-Man showed up at the compound AFTER Cap did. Cap didn't know he was coming.

This being made directly under Disney means we're going to get an actual budget this time and it's going to be great.

I'm screaming!

I could totally see this being the TWS follow up that people have wanted.

Not only that, but I could see this as not only setting up the status quo for Captain America Sam and Bucky after the series is done, but lay a lot of the groundwork for the Thunderbolts.

Also, getting one director for the whole mini series seems like a great idea and Skogland seems to have a great resume. These series could practically be like getting even more MCU movies inbetween the movies. I'm so fucking hyped!

I mean I could easily see the government refusing to acknowledge Sam as Captain America. Especially given how he was a fugitive.
Yeah, I think since we've never seen anything to say the Accords are all null and void, I suspect that Ross and the government will continue to operate by their own prerogative. The Avengers may get a pass for saving half of all life, but I could see a situation where they are still not sanctioned to be superheroes.

In fact, I think them trying to create their own Captain America could be right in line with Ross eventually creating his own Avengers (Dark Avengers/Thunderbolts).

Hope this is it. And also hope Sam gets the super soldier serum. I really like the idea of Sam as Cap, with the shield. But he should be stronger than a regular human.

6 eps is a good length. 10 eps felt often overstretched with the netflix marvel series.

Sharon was way out of Cap's league, as soon as he thought of a way to get Peggy he left and never looked back.

Good to see Zemo back. I never understand people who said he was a crap villain as I thought he was genuinely one of the best ones. I hope they don't just turn him into a generic bad guy trope for the tv series as the fact he was an ordinary, but skilled, man with a pretty good reason for wanting to bring down The Avengers made him relatable as a villain.
