Yessir I've been waiting for anything Destroy All Humans for a long time.
The first two games were so fucking good.
I'm praying this can give the series enough energy for a brand new entry.
Looks good (obviously Pre-Alpha footage has work to do on framerate). I'll keep my eye out on this!
I will definitely be playing this, but I'm afraid that maybe my middle school memories of loving these games after renting them from Blockbuster won't quite hold up.
I'm excited hearing this is a full remake and not just updated. There are a lot of things that could be improved with a more modern take.
I was worried after they first announced the game because it does not hold up. It had that low budget PS2 GTA clone feeling with a UFO gimmick.

This was actually touched on in an interview
Art style looks different than the OG and not in a good way (this looks more "realistic" as opposed to a more cartoony look).
Was super surprised when this got announced. Loved these games on the original Xbox. I think I tried emulating the PS2 version on my Surface Pro 3 last year with middling results. Day 1 for this for sure.
Cool, sounds like they're modernising quite a bit, which is good as the original is very rough to play

Here's a helpful summary post of all the events for the uninitiated.

If you use Steam and want to ignore all games that THQ Nordic publishes, go to their publisher page while you're logged in, then click on the little gear icon below where it says "Beta" and choose "Ignore this creator."

These games are being published by THQ Nordic. For those who may not be aware or who may have forgotten, THQ Nordic had a marketing effort where it intended to gain attention using a website that is known primarily for its support of child pornography, as well as for support of Neo-Nazism, doxxing, and other extremely damaging behaviours.
THQ Nordic's provided no response to this fiasco except for an apology claiming they did not do enough research. As the website is unlisted by Google, they had spoken to the board owner about removing "nasty stuff", and content was viewable both before and during the campaign, this claim is beyond belief. The individuals responsible are known not to be rogue PR interns, but go up to THQ Nordic's board. THQ Nordic has not dealt with the individuals responsible.
Consider that by supporting their games, you are supporting a publisher that is complicit with child pornography.

Watching the clip, Geoff didnt shake his hand or even say his name. Wonder if that was intentional?
Quite a lot of on foot gameplay here (timestamped). Although for some reason the audio during cutscenes is out of sync.
Kind of iffy on some of the stylistic choices, those breathing things on the back of Crypto's head are distracting. But the updated gameplay looks pretty good, with flying, shooting and dashing (which is new) at the same time.
There's also definitely some "new" dialogue, which I assume was cut from the original or something since none of it's actually newly recorded.
