Damn right. People saying he looks like DmC Dante are wilding out of their minds
Not at all. Gotta be blind to not be able to tell some immense fundamental differences. He looks like him. Don't you have a worse picture to prove your point ?
I would love for Nero's DT to be a bit mechanical in its design, considering his new arm.
Maybe they should have focused the trailer on the new playable character, with Dante at the end to show that it's still the same timeline? That would help a lot with all of the "goddamn it everything looks different" first impression. I hope it's a girl.
Hahaha, I was thinking that DMCERA who were betting on a Sony conference reveal missed out...
As someone who is not a big fan of the franchise (Only played 4), I think it looks beautiful. Why people are so mad and say it looks like shit?

We got some theories.Any thoughts on the third character on the cover? It looks like he's holding a threaded cane like from Bloodborne.

Would be Hiiraious if Patty from animate series become his girlfriend (she probably 20+ at this point)
Looks like a new character. There hasn't been any male character with noctis like hair in any of the previous games. Is that the final title card? Where's the unique person silhouette behind the title?
Yeah, I really like this theory. We got some theories.
We think its a medium for Vergil (the 3rd character is referred to as the Mysterious V). It's possible that Vergil can't really survive in his corrupted current body for too long so needs a new host of sorts. Most probably to exercise any remnants of Nelo Angelo. The guy has tattoos, left bracelet and sandal with a rapier/cane like weapon, seems more suited for a summoner/sorcerer type character. So it's a "new" character in the physical sense but might be possessed or linked with Vergil in some way. Through some leaks the character might have same demon summoning abilities as well.
The ACTUAL Vergil was in fact seen messing up Nero in the trailer.

Nero was always a fuckboi. He's just a 2018 version of one now:My precious Nero, what have they done to you? You used to look so dignified, no you look like a trashbag. Vergil would be disappointed in the state of his son now.
Who thought tattoos and smoking in my DMC was a good idea?
Oh, Yeah completely misunderstood your post. No, I mean in every DMC there's a silhouette of either a man or a woman behind the title. There's no such silhouette here.
This time V has come toIs that the final title card? Where's the unique person silhouette behind the title?

Credo confirmedMaybe the V is a char with wings or something in Devil trigger lol.
Not you too Dahbomb. We got some theories.

At least this time he doesn't look like a carbon clone of Dante.
In my opinion the ones that are worth playing are DMC 3, DMC 4, and DmC (Reboot). If you liked 3 then move on to 4, if you didn't then try the reboot. It streamlined some annoying things in the old series. I would skip DMC 1 and DMC 2, they aren't fun to play anymore. They aged rather badly. There's a bunch of them on Gamepass atm, 4 in a bunch then a single remake of the 1st one? Kinda confusing keeping up with who made what and what ones to avoid, but i reckon ill start at 3 now you mention it! :D

I wouldn't be surprised if Nero does.I just hope that either Dante or Nero drop the f-bomb for the meltdown.
Avoid forever: DMC2There's a bunch of them on Gamepass atm, 4 in a bunch then a single remake of the 1st one? Kinda confusing keeping up with who made what and what ones to avoid, but i reckon ill start at 3 now you mention it! :D
Yup!
The only one you actively avoid is DMC2, unless you really want to know. The rest are worth playing. I'd go release order, since a new player going back to 1 after playing 3/4 might be weird. DmC Devil May Cry is totally worth playing as well if the Definitive Edition is what's available on Game Pass. There's a bunch of them on Gamepass atm, 4 in a bunch then a single remake of the 1st one? It's Ali Edwards. Were those songs in the trailer Jamie Christopherson? They sounded a lot like the MGR OST.
