DLSS 3 seems to be ridiculous. Tech like this on a portable? Fuck that would be dope.

According to an image I saw from Nvidia, no.
No, dlss 3.0 is exclusive to 40xx cards
Not in this little trailer. Hopefully in their main video they will
Nvidia says input latency is lower since Reflex is a part of 3.0
Oh, interesting. The DF analysis will be great.Nvidia says input latency is lower since Reflex is a part of 3.0
aye, the frame interpolation is additive to the previous work, so incompatible cards probably just skip that new stepso going forward I guess DLSS has to be backward compatible since 3 series cant run DLSS 3
I just used native 4K and turned off ray tracing. wasnt good enough at all IMO versus performance costAs someone who just reinstalled CP2077 and has a 3080, trying to balance resolution and RT to my liking... that 4K 120 footage is nuts.

Yep. I'll hold off on the 4090 and wait for the 5090. My 3090 is still doing just fine.
I agree. The next big graphics showcase will be Stalker 2 in 2023/24 tho.All this power and no games to take advantage of it... Don't want to see the same old games at ever higher frame rates and resolutions. If it lets us do more full ray tracing with existing games though, that might be interesting.

That looks like a complete remake. Entirely new assets and PBR materials. All this power and no games to take advantage of it... Morrowind RTX is in the works.
Very interesting. Looking forward to it.Morrowind is a test scene, made to demonstrate RTX Remix. Portal with RTX is what we're releasing: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2012840/Portal_with_RTX/
Very interesting. Looking forward to it.
Is Portal RTX supposed to be fully path traced like Quake 2 RTX?
That's excellent news! My interest has piqued.Yep! Portal with RTX uses a ray tracing technique known as path tracing or full ray tracing, which unifies all lighting effects, such as shadows, reflections, refractions and more, into a single ray tracing algorithm.
Thats a 4 slot card? ffff
These are getting out of hand lol and I have a pretty decent sized case.
NVIDIA decision to make DLSS 3 exclusive to the RTX 4000 series, probably for marketing and new chipset architecture reasons. Why is this exclusive to RTX 4000 when RTX 2000 and RTX 3000 already have the optical flow acceleration hardware? This isn't like DLSS on Pascal where the older cards physically lacked the hardware that was required.
I hope someone at DF asks about this.

that only looks to be for video, probably due to the resources required. for realtime gaming, it's probably way too slowWhy is this exclusive to RTX 4000 when RTX 2000 and RTX 3000 already have the optical flow acceleration hardware?
