We've had footage of games running on the Series X for quite a while now.It seems finally we have some actual footage of a game running on Series X:
I was a bit worried about the 120FPS mode going by other articles but that looks great. Loading time was kinda long though, hopefully there's still optimization to be made. We've got footage of all three modes here too:
4K Image Quality https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKp7X2HBNMM
4K Frame Rate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9cMBxZTmuU
120Hz Mode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzizzR3X7r4
Oh my bad, apart from the BC games I thought all the footage so far was running on a development pc or the series s.We've had footage for a while of games running on the Series X.
Yeah, those tracks taking 10-15 seconds to load is bizarre. Hope some major optimizations happen before launch.I was a bit worried about the 120FPS mode going by other articles but that looks great. Loading time was kinda long though, hopefully there's still optimization to be made.
Youtube compression is really struggling to show off this game properly imo. Codies' last few games have looked really good.
I noticed some really bad screen tearing in the Press Start gameplay footage (particularly at the 4K Resolution mode), but didn't see it mentioned in your article. Is that video indicative of your experience as well?A bunch of other coverage links are up in the other Xbox Series X thread (including mine), all went live about 40 minutes ago.
Doesn't seem like they have updated their lighting model since last gen. It makes sense since this is a cross gen game after all.
This is the resolution mode. This looks awful, what the hell. Where are the shadows for anything?
Well in that case that's pretty disappointing.Doesn't sound like a compression issue. Both IGN & Ars Technica said it looks like a current gen game & nothing next-gen graphically about it

Well, that's good at least. I couldn't deal with screen tearing like that.I tested primarily on an LG CX, and in my piece, I describe how DiRT 5 is not currently playing well with XSX's variable refresh rate setting. But what I played tears far less on my CX than in the YT video you're talking about. Still, the video's bounciness between 30fps and 60fps is in line with what I've tested.

It's got to be the game?

OT but kinda not, wasn't there supposed to be Yakuza gameplay as well?I tested primarily on an LG CX, and in my piece, I describe how DiRT 5 is not currently playing well with XSX's variable refresh rate setting. I think that's later today or tomorrow.OT but kinda not, wasn't there supposed to be Yakuza gameplay as well?

Reminds me of Watch Dogs 1 lol

Not watched the video yet but if that is truly an example then wow!
