DisneyVEVO releases End Credits Version of 'A Whole New World' from Aladdin (2019) and it is a crime against music.

Guy was fine, even good. But the woman was... hoo boy. She legit sounds like she was chewing on gravel while singing this.
Bleh. The singers cant seem to annunciate their words. Kind of like they're singing while chewing a toffee, but that seems to have grown to be a thing in pop so it's not really a surprise I guess. The music itself is really dull and bland though. It sounds like something straight out of a slow 90's boyband song.
It's pretty jarring listening to the old and new version back to back tbh. They removed quite a few bits of melody that build the song out in the earlier parts and the original singers absolutely slayed it whereas the new one feels dull and lifeless as it builds and the singers cant seem to match the power of the older voices so it never amounts to anything.

This vocal style is extremely common in pop music right now and I hate it so much.
