So, guy, after 6000 hours, I think I should talk about how good this game is. It's a pvp multiplayer game where you have more than one hundred heroes to chose from. And while there are preferred ways to play with then, you can be creative and create really fun new ways to play it, making totally different combinations of skills and items every macth(although most of them won't work the best).
Since every match is self contained, you can try whatever you want, and the real punishment for playing bad is playing with people as bad as you, lol. Also, the game is free, but there is no pay to win, only cosmetic features.
There are dozen and dozens of mechanics going on and master take time, but man, when you learn, it's so rewarding. You feel empowered, like there's nothing you can't do in this world.
The game has a simple objective of destroying the other team base, but since you can also kill each other, you can comeback, no matter how behind you are or how many times you were killed.
Oh man, the comebacks. I don't recall a game having so many opportunities to comeback (or throw) as this one. It's another amazing feeling.
The game feture only one map, but since you need to know every tree to know where to hide, where to set trap and etc, this is not really a downside. The map actually is another mechanic in itself that allow you to really setup amazing plays too. And there are cosmetic variations of the map too.
Another compelling thing is working with different heroes to create amazing combos. I mean, you definitely have your own heroe combos, but when you hit that combo just right with your teammates, man...
The game also features different modes and a completive ladder, while also including mod support that allows for a lot of entirely different games inside the game. Ever played the custom maps in Warcraft? Come here and you will find it here.
Even when not playing it's entertaining to watch the hundreds of best plays compilations around YouTube and twitch. It's literally worth play a few dozens of games just to understand how the game works, uninstall the game and only use that knowledge to watch championships. I'm not kidding, a lot of players stopped playing and only watch the pros now days.
Of course the game has problems, like balance issue, old bugs and a community that can really be toxic, but this also affect other games too, so no big news.
I'm also making this thread because the game has a very sharp learning curve, and took me months till I stopped being excrucinated during games because if my bad performance, and I quit a few times think I would never learn. But I always came back because I knew how good the game was, and man, was worth. At least half of the games are frustrating, but the other good games totally make up for it (depending on your personality, if course). Literally the most satisfied with a play I made in a game happened here.
Try it. Try for a month. And if stick with it, you will experience amazing games too. Just believe me.
