One last Capcom tweet then I'll go silent until April. Capcom's fiscal 2020 year is very impressive, there's four big titles they're releasing, including two RE games (one is RE3). There's also a fifth medium game but not on the same scale as the other four releases. You'll see

No idea if these series would fit into big or even medium but I hope we hear about Ace attorney and Mega Man this year

I keep thinking it's going to be Revelations 3... but would a Resident Evil Revelations game be considered a 'big' title?

Dusk Golem liked and then unliked my reply about the second RE game being the werewolf FPS spinoff and the medium game being the oft-discussed Monster Hunter Switch. Interesting.

I'd bet the medium game is a Monster Hunter 5 for Switch, there've been rumblings about that but it wouldn't be in Capcom's top tier any longer.

Nah, it's way too soon.

MHW was MH5

re3
rev3
marvel
monster hunter

megaman
SF games usually come before Versus games. And with SFV possibly not being played in the CPT next year, the CPT needs a SF game of some kind.

I know that RE VII and RE 2 have great successes but I think Capcom can make the mistake of squeezing the franchise too much.

I really think we're going to get Megaman X9 here. I just have a feeling especially with the success of these Megaman titles.

I feel like Monster Hunter Switch would necessarily be bigger than a "medium" game. It won't be as big as World was, but MHSwitch would still sell a couple million units most likely. I have to imagine it'd be bigger than a Werewolf FPS spinoff of RE.

Yeah I wasn't expecting X9 or MM11 until next year so MH Switch would slot into this year nicely.

My hope for the medium game is Mega Man X9 but that could be a 2021 title depending on how ambitious a project it is.

Considering Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate sold over 1 million copies despite being a 3DS up-port and released in the west a year after World you better believe a hypothetical new Switch game would be major.

It would outsell DMC5 for a start.
In sales definitely but maybe Dusk Golem is calling it medium in terms of scope and budget.

Fingers crossed for a non-shit Breath of Fire game or Dragon's Dogma 2

We all know it won't happen but hey. Not like I ever get what I want anyway.
