I meant that they just show their scores to Kyle and huber, not usBut how would people know what to bring to the meetup if it wasn't public?
IMO it's a notch below XB1, but a notch above XBX.This is going to be weird to type out, but while I find this a solid review, it almost feels like there's a subtext of forewarning throughout including the thesis. Like, "This game has some really sloppy issues, but I found ride worth it." This isn't the first time I've gotten that inkling from the title's reception either. I can respect that to a degree, but this review adds to the notion that I think it may not be for me. In honesty, I didn't like the original Xenoblade Chronicles very much either, but it was alright and I was open to give this a shot. It's a bit of a shame but thanks for the review, Ben!
Oh my god.A sports show just talking about betting odds with Don and Huber
I bet you got a lot of people with this post lol.I'm starting to feel a little distant from the Allies, and I'm questioning if I'll renew my Patreon pledge. I know they have a lot of stuff to deal with, and they can't please anyone, but it really feels like a large amount of their fanbase is being outright ignored lately. We need a SportsTalk podcast. This has gone on long enough.

I'd say in all likelihood if you didn't like the first, you probably won't like this one. It's more flawed, but shares a lot of the same strengths (that world design! that exploration!)
All it takes is one highly devoted Jones fan...Really wish they had kept the grandma birthday cards bets secret from the public. There is always someone willing to manipulate these as we saw in the past on the main podcast
That makes no sense,I don't think you understand how counting non dupes works. If you're an Ian fan you just empty the box into the binThe worst part of the bet is that you can help Jones win but not Ian. Maybe someone should buy a huge pack of identical cards and fill the box so that no legible cards can go in there :p
I'm saying fill the box with useless stuff to make it harder for people to add cards that count. That makes no sense,I don't think you understand how counting non dupes works. If you're an Ian fan you just empty the box into the bin
I've been seeing lots of Xenoblade 2 streams by Damiani, seems he changed his mind about the game?
well he tweeted that xb2 is a massive disappointmentIn what way? It seemed he was quite down on the game the last time someone mentioned his streams in here.
It's halfway there. Not as bad as your average downloadable 2.5D game but not actually good. I could see it looking better when it's out next year.
His reaction is goldenHeh Damiani finally got KOS-MOS after going through countless cores.

Oh right. Too bad they won't react to the Keighley awards, that would make them more bearable. :P
They are reacting to the game awards on Thursday.Oh right. Too bad they won't react to the Keighley awards, that would make them more bearable. :P
Oh I thought I read that they weren't, that's great news.
Only thing they said they won't do is betting
We'll he's streamed about 25 hours so far, if he's not into the game then he's literally wasted a day of his life playing it so far.
I think it looks pretty good, but we now live in a world where indie games can look about 10x better than this. Compare Megaman 11 with something like Owl Boy, Hollow Knight, Inside or Cuphead, and suddenly it doesn't look so hot.
According to the folks in the XB2 name change thread, lip syncing doesn't really exist in Japanese either. Whatever system they used for that wasn't able to be tuned for either language before release.Anyways I'm 6 hours into the game and it's pretty good, the blade combo system seems to make sense and haven't had issue with combat so far. Right now my biggest major gripe is with the lip sync. It's so off especially for Rex the voices don't seem like they are even coming from the characters. It's very distracting, it was so much better in xc1 (I liked the voice acting a better as well). Considering switching to Japanese just for lip sync at this point.

I think we can be excited because it's still Capcom and some good people are working on it, but at first glance it's not anything special. I mean even Ducktales Remastered (published by Capcom) looked more impressive than that.
No I agree, I hated the 3D too. But the 2D art was just marvelous in my opinion, which is why I hold it in such high regard. Let's say it has higher highs than Megaman 11, which looks just... alright all around.I'm surprised you feel that way about Ducktales. Maybe it's just me, I guess it's a matter of preference, but I sort of hated the way the 2d art clashed with the 3d backgrounds there. I feel like 11's 3d is way better looking than it.

I guess my overall point is that in a world where 2 people can make a game as gorgeous and cohesive as Hollow Knight or one guy can make Axiom Verge, it weird to see these big companies under deliver like that for their big franchise. That kind of goes for Mighty Number 9 and Bloodstained as well.

Just caught the end of Cup of Jones live, anything worth discussing happen?
I think he was a little more clear this time, but i think it's better for people to check by themselves than doing little summaries to avoid confusion.
One thing that he clarified is that being neutral and always trying to see the good in people is just who he is, and that he apologizes if that is not the way some people wish he would react (not in a "i don't care" tone just so i'm clear). And that he will be holding conversations with other Allies about how they should communicate things to us Allies.
He read some messages with specific questions from the community, including from LiquidSolid, that posts/posted on here). He said a lot of things, it starts at approximately 1h6mins, iirc.
The allies don't like PUBG, don't know why everyone wants them to stream it.
I've heard Huber say he doesn't understand the hype. Thanks, I'll check out the full video later.
This... isn't true? Pretty sure Ben, Huber and Ian have all played it and loved it.
When did he say that? Because that time he was describing his first game ever he sounded pretty excited.
