Is he not going to steam them anymore?I'm going to miss the Damiani Persona 5 streams. It's fantastic watching.
Ah man, I couldn't disagree with Brad more on some of the TLJ stuff. I thought the humor was fantastic.
And I really hate this idea that any humor in a blockbuster now is "Marvel humor." I rewatched TFA last week and it had plenty of humorous moments throughout, including some that didn't feel as "Star Wars-y" as usual.
Even the more reason to understand the complaints about the exaggerated humor on TLJ when you didn't see complaints about it on TFA.
I'd be interested to know who of the allies liked the movie, who didn't and why. I'm waiting for the DVD release so don't want to get spoiled. Do they give any spoiler free impressions in the beginning?
All have said they need to see it again so these opinions may change.
At present it appears to be:
Like: Kyle, Huber
Dislike: Brandon, Brad
Middle: Damiani
General issue is narrative flow and context (though not, surprisingly, for Kyle). Complaints about humor. Brandon appeared to have the most issues with the movie (mirroring my own).
Ah thanks! I was about to see it in the cinemas, but decided against it because of the backlash. Just now checked the reviews and it seems to do really well. Maybe I should go see it, I tend to trust critics more than average moviegoer or a fanatic when it comes to film.Kyle & Huber liked/loved it.
Damiani, Brad, & Jones not so much lol.
Probably best to hold off on watching any of it until you've seen it, it's Spoiler Mode beginning to end.
I had an issue with them bringing up Thor Ragnarok as an example of "Marvel humour" because, if anything, that's the one Marvel movie that IS genuinely funny and that's because there's a great comedic writer and director behind it. A lot of other Marvel humour falls flat with me though, especially Guardians of the Galaxy 2, so I can see where they're coming from. And I did think most of the comedic moments in TLJ were weak.Ah man, I couldn't disagree with Brad more on some of the TLJ stuff. I thought the humor was fantastic.

Lmao, I don't know the context for this but I agree that it's really silly. I recognize and know a lot of actors, good thing they aren't disposable to me so I can watch them in more than just one movie.Watching the spoiler mode I was just like soooo frustrated with brandon. Was 100% with Kyle and Huber.
I think Brandon is similar to many of the old star wars fans. You watched it as a kid and have been obsessed with it your whole life and just need to let go. And these are the fans star wars just doesn't need now. I mean going in the movie with this analytical view, constantly evaluating every scene and how you should be feeling seems just exhausting. Also this criticism that someone being a known actor is bad and takes him out of the movie just makes me want to hit my head and forger that he ever said that. It's such a stupid criticism that I honestly don't value his opinion on movies if he considers this as a valid point.
It was a great movie and I'm happy it did what it did to star wars
Listening to Spoiler Mode and then venturing down into the comments made me realize I never want to hear another opinion about The Last Jedi ever again. I'm done. Closed the tab and felt so much better.
I loved this movie so much, but the conversation around it goes down to whatever nitpick the fandom has and I really don't care about it. I love it, I don't need to demonstrate anyone how much I think it's good, I'll let the "fans" go down their hole if they want to.
Good luck with that! I'm not that into Star Wars that I need to see it as soon as it comes out, but I hate being spoiled so I'm just going to see it next week, because the internet will soon be a minefield.I'd be interested to know who of the Allies liked the movie, who didn't and why. I think I'll avoid Spoiler Modes from now on as they're probably mostly just bitch sessions for unsatisfied fans.
Not really. It's Star Wars, it's always going to devolve into "nerd yelling".
Their Persona 5 SM is pretty good.
It's a shame Damiani has stopped making Zelda Talk. I liked that show. Hopefully it can return sometime next year.

Yeah the whole famous actor argument didn't really make sense.
it made sense to me. for characters with such short screen time it comes across as celebrity cameos. he has no problem with main characters being famous actors. i can appreciate that sentiment.
Heh, I still have my Millenium Falcon and two R2D2:s on display so I'd consider myself a big fan. But I treat the original trilogy bit separately from the other movies, so while I rather not be spoiled it wouldn't ruin my day.Good luck with that! "I probably shouldn't say it but Persona 5 is my GOTY" AGREED Huber. Can't wait to see the collective GOTY for EZA, what a year.
I don't really know where this is coming from since he just extensively praised it in the latest Friend Code.He seems to have somewhat soured on BotW since release, like he didn't play the DLC's at all until the other day and generally stopped talking about it really

No doubt about it. Using Proto Man as a hint system at first was nice enough, but his last encounter harkens back really nicely to his first encounters in MM3. After playing 7 more I'd definitely contend its under rated, I do wonder if the Japanese version is easier though compared to the American version - just little things like Burst Man's attack pattern seemed way more lenient when I played the Japanese version last week, compared to when I was doing my Legacy Collection 2 run on release. Shade Man as well seemed less aggressive with his dives in my Japanese playthrough compared to the American version.Seven is underrated. May or may not have the coolest Protoman encounters.
