Two questions about great runes:
Despite what the information tab shows about Godrick's great rune, it doesn't actually increase all character attributes without the use of a golden arc, does it?
Are the increase in attributes post golden arc permanent or temporary?

Ah yeah I've seen it, this fight was more hard because I would get really unlucky in the second phase, like sometimes I would instantly die, others I would die when she had 1HP haha
The stat buff lasts until you die. The great runes function very much like Humanity in Souls games.
The rune arcs also drop off the very same enemy that dropped Humanity in Souls (___Rats___)
If the person that replied to me in the last OT is correct the biggest change would be his hit boxes.
Less likely to hit you, and less likely to hit multiple NPCs in one swing.

The one enemy that I absolutely hate in this game are the fucking eagles. You encounter them maybe only twice in a playthrough but god are they insufferable with their insane mobility and constant pressure.
Miyazaki should make a lobster boss for either the sequel or DLC. I'd rage quit.
After many attempts, it just makes being "ready" and safe extremely consistent. Unless you crutch on the bloodhound dash, there's no real other consistent and safe way to survive if she decides to start up the flurry right in your face.

Also Radhan's armor is the heaviest I've got now, and the poise is way higher than anything else I own.

Yeah it's nuts. I keep stumbling across them in the unlikeliest of places too. Even areas you think are safe can suddenly have a boss show up.

The wiki has a list of all the bosses, it's insane how many boss fights are in this game.
It's also why there is boss bloat with lot of reused enemies, they kinda went overboard with the amount of boss encounters you have. The game has just as many unique bosses as other FROM games really, it's just also a bit padded with a ton of side bosses all over the world.
Late game and the lack of Marika statues is hell for some dungeons. I dread repeating the trek to a boss fight more than the fight itself.

Dammit I thought someone actually finally managed to do it without ash of war based on the title but it's just lobo's parry run. He used barricade shield which is an ash.

New to blood builds. A Dex build isn't sufficient then? Arcane raises the blood loss proc right, but doesn't raising the weapon level do it too? Dumping so many pojnts in Dex and Arc, I'm losing precious points for Vig and End.
Alright, after a few hours of messing around with different classes trying to decide on one a build direction I'm going to go with Prisoner and a Int/Dex hybrid focus I think (class for sure, will figure out build and leveling as I go). Thought about Astrologer as both that and Prisoner clicked with me and I beat an Erdtree Burial Watchdog without having leveled up any and I didn't come close to winning with other classes. I like the Astrologer's starting spells better, but like the Prisoner's sword and stats better and can just ge those spells later if I want them. Sold his starting shield accidentally so I'm just going to start a new and dive in fully now and over the weekend. :D
Well, the unique katana that is very popular for bleed builds requires 20 Arcane, but a far as I know Arcane only affects certain spells, Discovery, and your own defense against debuffs:

Looked it up, looks like if a weapon that can do Bleed requires Arcane, then raising the Arcane stat will increase the amount of Bleed buildup.

I'm thinking of some ways to alleviate my progression angst when going through the game on new NGs. Mainly that I figure out a way to give myself a 'soft' level cap for each area. Maybe sounds a bit weird, but it's what I'd like to try
Thinking level 25 would be a good cap for all the limgrave stuff, then I spend all the excess runes on weapon upgrades (so I could still get pretty powerful with that and have a good arsenal of weaps to try out). I'm not sure what it would look like for the different areas, but i'd like to more carefully explore and consider options in the starting region on the next run through (as a wretch). Cause I think I went the wrong way around it last time and struggled to know how powerful I needed to be any given time, without being overpowered or underpowered

I'm a little stuck on Blaidd's quest and am not sure if I'm missing something or if it's bugged…
I'm having some issues with this one. I've been following a guide for it as I was a bit lost, but a seemingly important step isn't triggering. I've met up with Blaidd in Siofra River and he told me to speak to Sorceress Sellen - however when I go to her, I just get her store prompts and no ability to talk to her about the quest. Any ideas?! I really want to see his and Ranni's quests through!
