I don't see any way to configure this on the iOS app and I've loaded games just fine without doing so.
Weird I guess. I select the bin file and it loads up the games for me no issues so far other than controller crashing.
Just found where it is in the settings. I'm not really sure what it's needed for, the app just says it could improve game compatibility but I haven't had any issues without it.
Damn. This is useful info. I'm all this time I just assumed Apple put a block on any tracking if we selected the option.

Per the app, it says it doesn't collect any data on the App Store, no idea how true those disclosures are. I just downloaded and haven't actually booted it yet.

I found in Canada, I had to search for PPSSPP - PSP emulator and it was like the 3rd or 4th result I believe.
just typing PPSSPP I couldn';t find it at all.
It takes a few hours for newly approved apps to appear on the App Store properly. You may be able to click the link in the post and get to it that way.

I wonder if the people developing these emulators just don't have one to test with. It seems like a no brainer to deploy your emulator on tvOS.

Messing around with PPSSPP and it works like a dream. Biggest hurdle to anything is touch controls always being a bit of a nightmare, but if there was ever a reason to justify buying a backbone, this is it.

Pretty funny to me that it supports Apple Vision Pro, but not Apple TV.
There was probably someone in the testing pool who was one of the like 17 people who didn't take their Vision Pro right back to the Apple Store after testing it.
RetroArch is the jankiest app I've seen in awhile. Glad it's here though since once I figure it out I know I can get games looking the way I want.
Is this an official release of Retroarch? It defaults to Catalan when I boot it up and the UI keeps swapping fonts on me.
Running GBA games on my iPad Pro, it runs at double speed since the screen is 120Hz. I got the language changed, but all sub-menus are still in Catalan. Not sure this is a fully baked release yet, will have to check in on it after some updates.

Edit: Seems like you have to enable the Gsync/Freesync option in order for things to not be sped up.

How did you enable it? It's greyed out for me on my iPad Pro and everything is running at ludicrous speed.
Only the best gaming has to offer for me.
Saturn emulation seems solid to me, but I'm no expert.
You need to press on the option itself instead of the switch. It's kind of janky.
