I randomly took a peek at Nexus so I could get a laugh over what ridiculous nude mod someone created this time for FFVII Remake and-

Oh Damn.

So yeah, jokes aside modders can create some really amazing alternate looks and outfits for characters. This is a major reason why I'm planning to get Street Fighter 6 on PC rather than PS5, and why I wish consoles would allow this kind of versatility even though it would be a copyright and NSFW content nightmare. By my recollection only Bethesda has allowed it for Skyrim, and even then it's a heavily vetted process compared to PC.

Anyways, post your favorite mod outfits/alternate looks for characters from any game. Needless to say, keep them SFW and give credit to the creators.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (which is perfection) perfectly recreated in Marvel's Spider-Man.
(in general, all the suit mods in that game are incredibly detailed)

I couldn't play Cyberpunk 2077 without extensive modding for way better clothing options. For some reason NPCs got some pretty cool outfits that to my knowledge were just never made available for V.

Yeah there's a load of horny trash but for every 10 horny trash mods there's 1 or 2 actually super decent clothing/outfit mods that are well worth making PC my main platform.

I have literally hundreds of modded outfits downloaded for FFXIV. Creators put out a really amazing amount of stuff. And it's only like 50% horny nonsense! (Though that is certainly appreciated plenty by the community as well.) My favorite mod makers are Kiwi Forma, Miste and Alee. Can find their stuff on Patreon, XIV Mod Archive (this site is the depths of depravity so watch out), or The Glamour Dresser. Combined with other mod tools for posing your characters, and taking better screenshots, you can do a lot of really pretty stuff for pictures.

The most impressive bit of FFXIV modding is that there's a plug in you can install that automatically downloads your friends mods and applies them to their characters in game so that everyone who you pair your game up with can see you exactly how you want to look and vice versa.

Modding is of course against the FFXIV TOS and I'd never actually do it this was all a lie and that could be anyone's character.

I've been screaming about how much I want Turk outfits for the characters since the announcement of Remake. I'll continue to whine about it until it's made official, but at least the modders finally made it a reality:

I'd link the Tifa one but there's a cleavage version that might be considered NSFW. It's fine as a sexy alt but I do wish there was a buttoned-up version (there is one that has her with a ponytail, but the Turk outfit looks better with her hair out imo).

Recolors the Dark Suit to Black Cat's Color Scheme.

This adjusts the Dark Suit, which is a present from Black Cat in-game, to look more like her outfit as opposed to a black-and-red suit that is a reference to prototype symbiote design. IMO a massive improvement.

Meanwhile, I really like this symbiote take on the Kaine/Scarlet Spider suit, to the point that I wore it through my entire NG+ playthrough.

The king shit to me is how modders have also added unique synergy mods to Linkle 3.0 that DRAMATICALLY reduce the transphobia in BOTW with the merchant character Lynx. A gender-creative catboy that rewrites the narrative of the Gerudo Town infiltration quest to being more a conflict of cuteness than gender critical bullshit.

EDIT: Also, I do not support piracy. I own an actual Wii U and a physical copy of BOTW for the console and all it's DLC. Please put the bowgun down.

The TL;DR is thus:
1. Have an official copy of BOTW for the Wii U and it's DLC.
2. Have a Wii U.
3. Get CEMU and dump BOTW and DLC onto your PC.
4. Get a nifty little Python program for CEMU called BCML (Google and Youtube is your best friend).
5. Grab you some Linkle mods from your local modding sites.
6. FUCKING. PROFIT.

I wonder if the RE Engine is particularly easy to mod, because I've seen some fantastic results really quickly for every PC release.

I'm also sure Unreal is the easiest to mod, which is why we continue to get amazing stuff for FFVII-R and anything running on it. Speaking of which:

Yeah, Linkle kind of creeps me out for a variety of reasons, and the direction a lot of the outfits definitely plays into that a good amount. Zelda just feels right for a lot of reasons as an alt playable character, and the outfits especially are really great for the most part.

If you can look past all the extremely horny Skyrim outfit mods, there's a ton of great SFW stuff too.

For example, I'm a pretty big fan of Pulcharmsolis' work such as their Armors of the Velothi sets as well as their latest armor mod, their Maormer Seascale set.

I've also got to say that I'm a big fan of all of the thalmor armor retextures that make them dark instead of typical the elven gold.

IMO, this is how Thalmor armor should've been in the vanilla game since it fits in much better with their overall aethestic, especially with the design of Thalmor Robes.
