What is coming out in the next three months? I didn't include May because RE8 just got a release date but about the only things that I saw across those three months are Balan Wonderworld, Outriders and Guilty Gear.

I'm not even interested in any of those three. Is there anything that is expected to release in that period that hasn't been given a date yet?

There's Returnal, Destruction All Stars, and I would assume Ratchet is coming within that timeframe (given it was announced as launch window), unless it's been delayed.

Uhhhh there's quite a bit. We just got Hitman 3, Destruction AllStars is right around the corner, March has Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Returnal, and April has Nier Replicant.

It's still very much a pandemic and if these games aren't to your tastes (as they are to mine) then most have a backlog :)

I'm keen on trying Destruction All-Stars next month. Kena Bridge of Spirits is suppose to release in March so I'm looking forward to that as well, as well as the PS5 version of Yakuza 7 (can't wait to finally play).

Just hoping Ratchet and Clank can get dated because that's really the only other game I'm looking forward to within the next four-five months.

R&C is expected as a launch window title. GT7 was rumored to be in Q1 but IMO that's not going to happen. Destruction All Stars is also happening in February. Returnal is March too AFAIK.

I wouldn't say it's grim for the PS5, I honestly think that these three months are going to be better than launch, where the only interesting things were DS and Astrobot.

Xbox is expectedly in a bit worse shape. We knew this would happen and third parties are coming. They obviously have a lot of stuff but it's H2.

This your first console launch? Always dead after launch until summer. At least. Plus covid.

Your fault you're not looking at how dope Returnal looks.

Also while they're not first party P5S, Yakuza 7, Nier Replicant and Disco Elysium are all strong releases I'm getting day one.

I've got a number of games lined up to check out. Going to be a drought for sure though. It does look pretty grim until later in the year.

Ys IX
Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PS5)
Nioh Collection
Little Nightmares 2
Persona 5: Strikers
Destruction AllStars
Prince of Persia Remake
Returnal
Balan
It Takes Two
Terminator: Resistance Enhanced (This game is criminally underrated)
Disco Elysium: The Final Cut
Kena: A Bridge of Spirits
Outriders
Guilty Gear Strive
Nier Replicant

Probably also Ratchet & Clank. Saying there's nothing is absurd.

Nah, for me there's:

Feburary - Nioh Next-Gen port, Persona 5 Strikers, "Free" Destruction All Stars
March - Returnal, Control Next-Gen port
April - Nier Remaster

Returnal is looking incredible if you like arcade shooters. I think that one is going to land really well.

It just so happens that I am very interested in Outriders and Guilty Gear. On top of that, there's Nier Replicant and Persona coming as well. Plus, even if that all doesn't work out, I've got plenty of backlog to catch up on.

Personally I'm all over returnal and ratchet (I'd be surprised if it doesn't launch in that time frame)

destruction all stars look pretty awesome too (it's free I may as well try it at the very least)

It takes too and kena

Then it's deathloop and Resi8 in may.

Disco Elysium if you didn't play on PC.

lots for me to be playing...and I still have backlog *nervous sweats*

You know things are looking grim when destruction allstars makes the list for PS5

But there are plenty of PS4 games coming out like Ys IX so that will keep me busy.

If you're only looking out for exclusives then maybe but even then there seems to be a good amount of titles from both first party and third party. This ain't the same situation as Switch.
