Getting the same vibe I get from the people who say quotes from Warhammer 40k like "purge the xeno" just a bit too much with this "empire did nothing wrong".

"Empire were the good guys! The rebels are villains! They need to show everything from their stormtroopers of view for once!"

Meanwhile the stormtroopers:

Ok so I actually watched some of it and it's pretty much dumb shit. He brings up the Tarkin novel to show how Tarkin had nobel intentions to bring justice and prosperity to the galaxy. He brings up how Mando proves that the daily lives of people were worse off under the New Republic than under the Empire. He claims the Jedi aren't much better than the First Order cause they both go around indoctrinating children.

Tarkin novel is the classic story of the fascist trying to justify themselves, you'd have to be a real fucking dumbass to miss this. He ends up creating something called the Tarkin Doctrine that's about ruling through overwhelming fear, hence the Death Star and using it on Alderaan. But yes we should take him at his word that he just wants prosperity.

Apparently he knows about the Tarkin novel but never watched Rebels or any comic book that shows how the Empire completely fucks over the daily lives of citizens across the Mid and Outer Rim. Only the rich Core worlds were mostly able to go along with their lives like it was under the Republic.

And on gaming side people deadass wanted a game story centered around being completely loyal to the empire as if the gaming community, let alone any gaming writer, would handle that shit with grace

It's call Star Wars: Tie Fighter and Squadrons.

Well, High Ranking Imperial who has the moral most probably is Rae Slone? and Maybe Pellaeon in Legends?

Odd bump, but today's Mandalorian episode made me chuckle in regards to this. It initially portrays the Empire like the fanboys like to promote it as; saving the heroes with swelling heroic music, and then you see the true face of it.
