Hoping this is better than Riverdale which went all the way off the cliff in season 2.

It's based on the comic, which is dark af. Really gritty, even fucked up at times.
There was a casting for a talking goat, besides the already classic talking cat
Anyone expecting a grounded adventure for this show haven't read the chilling adventures of Sabrina comics.

It's based on a comic that the show runner wrote, and Riverdale going off a cliff is hopefully proportionate to him putting the work on Sabrina.
Happy they kept the name.

This is based on the comic. The showrunner for this show was in charge of Riverdale, and the Chilling Adventures comic.
This comic gets fucking dark, and creepy. It's great.

Hell, Chilling Salem is even more bohemian than tv show Salem, even if he is more on a "depresed bohemian" side and not "take over the world bohemian" =P
