We can't complain there's nothing to do in Lego now, seems like progressing the pass will be very fast either way, the weekly give a big amount of the required currency I've only done the 3 Sandbox one + daily and I had 2 steps done already.
Also I told you it wasn't worth it to do Racing quest at the start of the season, now there's the Star Wars ones with it.
The issue is, there still isn't any actual game content loops. Once you've build the four zone bases that's it, you have nothing else to do because there is no other sink. I see they've expanded the weekly/daily quests but it is again just "do X normal thing" like eat food or such.
A lot of survival games have an actual looped sink that keeps players attached, be it animal farming for ultimate combos, "never-ending" building or triggered invasions/events that can potentially push you back. LEGO doesn't have any of that, because again the actual sink is building the villages and settings villagers. Which have slightly increased in capacity but still keep limits which is not normal for the survival genre.
There is also the issue of complexity limits, which is absurd because that to me says the devs didn't even think about how much people would build. In a game all about building and is literally the brand's "thing" that everyone loves. For whatever reason, there is no mesh derendering to reduce impacts, instead the builds are just constant in your world.
they left the Waterbending in the game until the end of the season
(i know they left it because of the Korra challenges, but just nerf the fucking thing, does anyone on the dev team actually play the game?)
Shame they didn't keep airbending either, that was just good to get around and do quests. I fucking love waterbending though, because while it does so crazy damage if your opponent is stupid enough to stand still then that's on them. Just the same as snipers, the damage is absurd but if you are able to be sniped it's because you are not being cover aware.
