The clothes brand has described the issue as "incredibly frustrating" and condemned the far-right views.

Can't help but think a better way would have been to just run ads featuring POC and LGBTQ people wearing the shirt and then watch the tantrum unfold.

Good on FP for acknowledging this, I really like their knitwear. Maybe they could put out a particular colour scheme where the funds go to various charities. Amazing really how Fred came from a staunch socialist background only for these goons to hop on his brand decades later. I guess it was the same with far right hoolies in the 70's and 80's

All the charvas around my way growing up would wear Fred Perry stuff. They're going to be furious about this.

Funny to read that the namesake Fred was a working class socialist MP. They couldn't have picked a more perfect brand could they?
