is anyone else having issues getting the upgrade for RE7 gold edition from the ps store? I have the disc version of RE7 gold and it still says I have to pay $20
Go to the RE7 disc tile, three dots, view product, three dots, select the gold edition and on that page you'll see the upgrade button.

Credits to Castle for an easy visual guide.

Really disappointed to hear these patches introduce DX12 related stutter and that there's no way to go back to previous versions. What a disaster for PC players. Feels like every big PC release for the past two years has had shader compilation stutter which just makes PC gaming feel really second class. Such a shame.

Digital Foundry need to call Capcom out on this shit.

We will roll out a beta branch shortly that will allow you to access the older non-RT version.

    EDIT: It's now live.

Follow steps below to roll back to the previous non-RT version:

    1. Click LIBRARY in Steam client.
    2. Right-click the game and select "Properties..."
    3. In the pop-up menu, select "BETAS"
    4. From the pull-down menu, select "dx11_non-rt" (Note: password not required)
    5. Close the pop-up menu and let the Steam client auto-update the game
    6. You should be able to launch the game normally once the update completes
    7. Please note some of the in-game option settings will be reset as a result of the rollback process.

If you would like to update the game to the new version again, simply select "None" from the pull-down menu in Step 4 above.
