People would really be disappointed if it's not Bloodborne 2? Why? It will be another classic FROM arpg no matter what title
Because the universe of bloodborne is incredible and unlike anything else out on the market.
Nah they're already teasing it I bet we see an extended look at that trailer in the coming days
That's what I thought too initially, but maybe it really is that simple and Bloodborne 2 hopes and dreams are inadvertently making it more complicated.
Well, they did admit that they "sometimes" announce games too early.
The interesting thing there is the mention of PSVR.

It's possible. But they're not even having an actual conference this year. Don't want to seem like a debbie downer but I just think that it's unlikely. Would love to be proven wrong though.

Why do people want BB2 now so badly? It ran like crap on my PS4. Would be better if it would release on the PS5 and hopefully with 60fps..

It's FS. They could tease a black screen just stating "coming soon" and people would lose their shit..
Because the first was fucking fantastic. Why else do you think. Frame pacing does not decide whether a game is good or not
I'm betting it's gonna be a spiritual succesor to Shadow Tower or a straight up sequel.

Ofc it was fantastic. t's my fav game of all time.. BUT it would be much better if the experience was smoother.
I have to admit, i never played the Shadow Tower games, so i would really be interested in a remake/successor/sequel for that.

Yeah, a thousand replies in this thread alone. It's working.
Demons Souls and everything that followed are the successors of King's Field and Shadow Tower. They're not going back, they've already moved forward.
If it was Bloodborne 2 then it would have been a teaser from Sony, From is the developer but the IP is Sony. We would have seen a joint Sony/From logo at the end, no doubt.

You know what makes this comment very ironic? Is that a lot of their old ips, like Shadow tower and kings field.. are still souls likes, lol. Especially ST:A where you even level up with SOULS, bunch of weapons and armor... So even if it's just over the next 20 hours, let us dream.. we're so close!

If it's VR then from my understanding it's exclusively a VR experience. Also, I don't know if you've played the King's Field games or Shadow Tower but they are clunky. Even Abyss was.
If you were going to drag out a title from so long ago that barely anyone remembers, wouldn't it be easier/better to just make it a new IP?

Nah I don't think there's any BN event. I don't know who started that rumor but now that SCVI was revealed, kind of makes it moot. You'd think if there was an event people would be hyping it up and Namco themselves would announce it well in advance.
