Right, I think this show might be known here, but maybe it isn't and that is why I have chosen to create a thread on this. Indeed, for those who don't know Game Sack is a retro review show where childhood friends Joe and Dave review games, often around a theme of some kind, and well why not let them explain the concept further via this handy channel trailer.

Def. one of my favorite channels. Ive been a pretty big fan of their new format of doing fewer, but longer/more in-depth episodes too.

I want them to do more magazine reviews.

I suggested to therm once to pick a year and season and go through multiple magazines, including Nintendo Power and Sega Ages to kind of capture the different things going on.

Their system-focused episodes are fantastic! I've watched the x68000 one so many times... though I'm still waiting on a Lynx amd a Marty one ;)

Really glad they're keeping it up. I only played the well-known games of the 8 bit era, so I love learning a lot from these guys.

Just a little bit cheesy, just a little bit self-deprecating, but just good fun.

Whenever I'm tired of the overly-sweary, super-angry, super-srs, cynic gamers on YT I always put them on loop, along with the OutsideXbox/OutsidXtra guys

yeah, GS is legit one of the only gaming YT channels i sub to & regularly check, they're good for putting you onto new games & such. i still think the X68000 ep was one of my favorites, love learning about that scene.

I literally fall to sleep to Game Sack (in a good way). I put on their videos on my Vita and they help me go to sleep. The soothing sounds of Game Sack never fail.

Really though, great show, informative and genuine. Well edited too. I love the cheesiness and all. They're also responsible for making me aware of many games I never even knew existed. Growing up in the 80's in Europe and many games just not coming out over here really stunted my overall knowledge on games. But it's cool, because that means I still learn about new games almost every week (not necessarily from Game Sack) so that keeps the hobby fresh.

Game Sack is my favorite video game channel but I haven't watched their videos in several months. That said, that dude's video editing qualities and camera work are top fucking notch and honestly in terms of information and presentation, they're the best classic video game show.

I also really like their videos and feel like Joe and Dave compliment each other perfectly. I guess it helps that they are good buddies. Very good stuff and hopefully they dont burn out making new content regularly(they stopped briefly at one point because of that)

I thought I was the only one that put on some eps before I went to sleep :p Most channels I can't leave on because there's usually screaming involved, which will wake me up :/

I really enjoy Game Sack even though the writing from the guy with the beard is hilariously terrible.

There's is something endearing about him. Like a stupid sibling.

In one of their episodes, they started dressing up as other Youtube game people. Happy Console Gamer and even the Angry Video Game Nerd were among them. Good stuff. Every time their Metal Jesus makes a cameo, it's just great.

These guys are still making stuff? That's awesome. I used to watching almost exclusively these dudes and Classic Game Room back in 2013. I'll give them a sub. Also enjoyed watching them before I fell asleep.
