I have been made aware of this steam curator which recently is making waves

A curator dedicated to leaving bad reviews to any game that has any involvement with this company named sweet baby inc.

Now I've never heard of this company until today. Turns out they are a consulting company that overviews scripts from major publishers and developers and just tells them if anything offensive is in the script and stuff they should tweak, then assists after the consultation to help make that a reality in the game…. From what I can tell that's it.

Now in pure gamer fashion….. these people are convinced this company is responsible for making all their games "WOKE" and is the downfall of western game development.

Not even gonna include the shitty tweets in this post (holy shit twitter is a hellhole stop pushing this propaganda to me) but I'm sure you can find them or even just read the steam curator group to see what these people think. These people legit have brain rot and think a script consulting firm is the reason why the new fable doesn't have female models that look like 2b

To point it out this group was just created and has over 100k members…. People are getting pushed into this ideology at a rapid rate

It never ceases to amaze me how much of these peoples' lives are completely consumed by complaining about "wokeness" in their media.

People like Asmongold literally make their living (and a very successful one at a that) out of crying about stuff being "woke." And he just put up a video about this very subject.

The argument is that forced diversity is hurting genuine storytelling and that Sweet Baby Inc is forcing diversity into any games they're consulted for. Do they know how any game's narrative changed because of SWI's consultants? Of course they don't. That shit has never been public and never will be. They're literally just looking for an easy scapegoat to explain why games they otherwise like are supposedly "ruined" by "woke" elements. From the Comicsgate article posted above:

Where's the proof that Sweet Baby Inc was responsible for Hailey or Saga's storylines? There isn't any, because it's literally fucking made up. Instead of accepting societal change, it's always some fucking boogeyman's fault. Those fucking Sweet Babies are why Alan Wake 2 has a black woman protagonist!!!! It couldn't have possibly been something Sam Lake and his team wanted!!!!!!!!!!!!

They showed 13 games that they worked on their website but I it seems there's more? Never played those 13 games. I am interested in Sable though. I thought the game doesn't have a script TBH. I don't remember seeing dialogue in the trailer.

YouTube is flooded with so many low-effort channels that follow the same exact template of raging about "wokeness" in movies, tv and games. Its so easy to come across them too, just search a review of any recent blockbuster show or movie and one or more of these channels will be recommended to you.

It's because employees of sweet baby tried to get people to mass report the group and then ended up getting dogpiled and deleted most of the tweets.

Streisand effect. The group was made in janurary and didnt make any waves but as soon as that whole thing happened it exploded and people started rallying behind it

Those employees are screwed if any of this leads to their bottom line being impacted. I would've just stayed quiet and let it fade into irrelevancy.

There's about twice as many companies listed on their website, so assuming they worked on each of those for at least one game, it seems they're more prolific than that. Maybe the 13 were just the ones they wanted to boast about or which they're allowed to acknowledge their work in.

Sweet Baby okayed a script where a villain kills a hero, goes to (suicide squad spoilers) piss on his corpse, and everyone compliments him on how endowed he is. The chuds aren't upset that Sweet Baby is censoring offensive content, they're upset that publishers want a product they can get a large return on and some devs want to include visibility, flags, and generally not be gross.

They're not upset at Suicide Squad because it has content that could be construed as offensive, they're upset because a dev decided to put a pride flag up in one area and Earth 2 Luthor dislikes toxic masculinity.
