It is deeply hilarious to see someone who allegedly worked on Starcraft whining about 40k being woke.

I actually can't make sense of how or why these people hate women so much. Is this guy married?
You can tell they don't actually play anything they complain about with how they jump from game to game every other day.

I usually hate the word "tourist", but him and his chud fans are honest-to-god diarrhea-spewing tourists.

From Warhammer/Games Workshop itself:

For clarity: satire is the use of humour, irony, or exaggeration, displaying people's vices or a system's flaws for scorn, derision, and ridicule. Something doesn't have to be wacky or laugh-out-loud funny to be satire. The derision is in the setting's amplification of a tyrannical, genocidal regime, turned up to 11. The Imperium is not an aspirational state, outside of the in-universe perspectives of those who are slaves to its systems. It's a monstrous civilisation, and its monstrousness is plain for all to see.

That said, certain real-world hate groups – and adherents of historical ideologies better left in the past – sometimes seek to claim intellectual properties for their own enjoyment, and to co-opt them for their own agendas.

We've said it before, but a reminder about what we believe in:

"We believe in and support a community united by shared values of mutual kindness and respect. Our fantasy settings are grim and dark, but that is not a reflection of who we are or how we feel the real world should be. We will never accept nor condone any form of prejudice, hatred, or abuse in our company, or in the Warhammer hobby."

If you come to a Games Workshop event or store and behave to the contrary, including wearing the symbols of real-world hate groups, you will be asked to leave. We won't let you participate. We don't want your money. We don't want you in the Warhammer community.

For those heroes out there running their own Warhammer events, we'd love for you to join us in this stance.

But sadly this is not the first these sad sacks of gone about this, from the Sisters of Battle getting more support, the Imperial Guard, Tau and Elder getting more women figures in normal squad sets, their being dark skinned Space Wolves, this book's cover art:
81LNhvxI5DL._AC_UF894,1000_QL80_.jpg

These sad sacks really get mad when the work taking the piss out of them takes the piss out of them and tries to be inclusive.

Just an aside, it's always weird to me see the Primarchs being that pale like Roboute Guilliman is on that cover art (guy top left), I don't know I always so the the Primarchs and the God Emperor as at least heavily tanned based on the old art of the Emperor from back when I was a kid:

These people are dumb enough to think G/O Media is a fair company that likes its workers

I, more than once, have gotten a wild amount of traffic to my stories. I recall Xenoblade 3 getting a month's worth of traffic in a day.

They're fucking insane if they think traffic correlates to raises. Raises tend to come more often in the form annual percentage increases with maybe a percent up or down based on how well you stretch outside your role.

Unless you're a freelancer who gets paid based on ad revenue performance (which isn't very common), then the article's performance has no bearing on your pay as it's usually set by the terms you agreed to the employer upon your hiring.

Depends on the Primarch - although they are called the Emperor's sons, they arent actually his sons. They have a range of skin tones, with some being incredibly pale and others being darker.

None are Black however - closest is Vulkan, who was actually pure Black as in pitch black with glowing red eyes.

It amazes me, how right now what we consider art, is being manipulated. Imagine an artist, let's say a painter, with someone over the shoulder telling them what colours are offensive. This consulting company's for inclusive are blasphemy.

I seriously don't understand this need for pushing all of these "inclusiveness", because they don't make financial sense, most of the inclusive titles fail. All of us gamers, know something is off and push down our throats.

Now that I'm thinking I guess they only way they would allow this, is to indeed manipulate a whole generation of people, which makes me more furious.

Everytime I see a game that has this inclusive crap included I know I'm getting something that is altered.

Imagine an artist, let's say a painter, like myself, showing their work to other creatives and asking what interpretations they take from it to see whether those interpretations were what they wanted to communicate, or if they've misjudged how people would read something, or if they might accidentally communicate something they didn't want to, or if their work just wasn't effective at communicating in the first place.

Imagine, let's say, if that was the literally what an artistic critique is and the entire point of asking for feedback so you, as an artist, can actually improve instead of stewing in your own little bubble.

My god! The thing artists have been doing to themselves to improve their work for centuries is some kind of forced conspiracy!

Everytime I see a game that has this inclusive crap included I know I'm getting something that is altered.
lol no you don't. The only way this makes sense is if you assume literally everyone has the exact same opinion as you. Meanwhile in the real world, artists famously lean left and are often inclusive by choice.

Source: a bunch of art history classes. A hell of a lot of "major" artists were straight up socialists or communists!

They're not sending their best

Fun fact: I don't come here for the controversies around this as much as the laughs of Mark Kern and his army of bozos doing their best and still struggling for attention with desperate tactics.

Verge said it right, Gamergate 2.0 is smaller and sadder than before lol

They're not sending their best, that much is certain.
it's just weird they use the same tactics from like 2014 now like they'll work even a little

obvious burner bans became the standard, like anyone sitting on an account forever just to pop in like "well, out of nowhere here's my bullshit, now lemme just ask questions for hours!" started getting the boot well before any of them reached the bad faith stage since at least 2015

Imagine thinking representing humanity closer to how it really is as something forced/altered. If anything that's always been historically so stifled...
Instead of being forced to be inclusive its always been "we don't want to be known as the gay game" like the recent Life is Strange shit....

As if there aren't tons of examples of creatives wanting to diversify their stories a bit and the moneyhats in charge forcing them into the same narrow boxes.

But that's probably the primary logical fallacy of right-wing ideology for you: that the world is just and everyone achieves power as they "deserve" and any upset to the status quo must be forced and "unnatural." The idea that the status quo might itself have arisen unnaturally or through force is simply unthinkable.

re: the bolded, it's called feedback, and unless you're 100% working for yourself, that's what happens. It's not even a new problem! It's been going on for centuries. Since the first scribe wrote their paid word, since an artist drew their first paid picture, etc. What about all the games that were intended to have 'inclusive crap' by their creators, but had to change due to executive decisions? What about them?

Everything is altered! It's called the development process.

ETA: Beaten by a much better post:

It amazes me, how right now what we consider users, are being permabanned. Imagine a poster, let's say a gamer, with mods over the shoulder telling them what posts are offensive. This forums moderation for inclusive are blasphemy.

I seriously don't understand this need for pushing all of these "standards", because posts don't make any fucking sense, most of the woke posts arent banned. All of us gamers, know something is off and post our bigot tweets.

It's the only tactic they've ever had, just like how there's just one joke (the "attack helicopter" "joke"), just one complaint ("muh freeze peach"), over and over and over again because their entire lives are consumed by coping, malding, and seething, and not growing. It's the Internet version of the little kid saying "no, you" back to whatever you say to them.

That's it, nothing else, that's the whole ball game. It's an awful way to live.

This does bring up one of the goofiest things about all this. Whenever we get all of these idiots crying about how the integrity of art is being ruined because someone is stepping in to disrupt the creative vision, it's always the biggest, most corporate art. It's always, like, Star Wars post-Disney buyout having its vision (which is different every movie and also long distanced from the people who came up with the original vision anyway) being corrupted by the wokes, rather than something like Daisuke Amaya getting the game that he created by himself being repeatedly regurgitated in increasingly altered forms by a grossly mismanaged publisher.

Like they're going "oh the horror, what if someone told a painter what to colours to use" but they're doing it to a guy who is painting the McDonalds arches.

I love the widespread pushback these chuds are getting this time around. They're being consistently called out and mocked.

They're making it considerably easier to see what they're about. No veneer of 'ethics in journalism' to draw people in, or anybody notable to get their message out. It's just straight up saying they have a problem with minorities and women.

In a very weird way, I'm kinda glad these idiots have wasted the what? Past year or so whining about how everything is 'woke' (inclusive), no matter the quality of the game.

Or show. Or movie. Or comic. Or—

It's made it a lot easier for most people to decipher what their actual motive(s) are and see past whatever bs decoy reasoning they try to hide behind.

What's the point of this post anyway? How did this go down in your head when you were typing this? Were you just going to come here, spew this barely comprehensible heavily typo'd nonsense, we'd have an epiphany at your genius and "stop being woke"?
I could cherry pick this post all day if I wanted to, but I'll lead by example and do something better with my time.

That or we LGBTQ people are happy that we can play as ourselves in SOME (There are still plenty with either a male cis straight protagonist or have a huge amount of fanservice) games asshole
