Catering is perhaps the wrong word in hindsight. But publishing this game indicates that they tolerate the sexualisation and the crowd that advocates for it. That's just not acceptable to me.

As others have said, it's baffling there is any uproar at all about the redesign for Eve's bunny outfit, as there are still far more revealing outfits in the game than even the original design was!

Don't tell Gamers™ how video games modify, edit, change and remove content all the way through game development and up to the release date date on a regular basis for various reasons, some of those changes due to things in the game being potentially problematic. Change, iteration, and refinement is a natural part of the development process -- not even purely on creative projects, but for so many occupations or life in general!
