Germany by far most admired country, with US, China and Russia vying for second – global poll taken before Covid-19

I would still rank it above China and Russia though. But yeah, the US' reputation is pretty much fucked. Not that it was good after the Bush years to begin with.
The fact it's a poll that only relates to those four countries should probably be added to the thread title really
It's like asking what do you like the most chocolate, shit, dogshit or birdshit.
Chocolate is always gonna win when the other options are shit.
If I had to work in a another country I would probably pick Germany tbh. Just feels like you have relatively good quality of life and good job opportunities to me as an engineer.
Edit: Looks like they just asked about US, germany, China and russia. Would be bad for germany to lose that race tbh 😂

Other countries that would leave the US, China and Russia in the dust in such a poll include New Zealand, Wakanda, the Republic of Wadiya and Rand McNally.
A lot of this is probably tied with geopolitics and economic aspiration. Germany has built up an image of efficiency and competance, and of course wealth to go with it. Some aspects of that are true.

You can't see the positive aspects of our country in comparison to others in the world?
No country is perfect and Germany is lacking more than it should in important aspects but the overall quality of life we have here is great
