in related idle thumbs chatter, i'm happy for sean, chris, and jake continuing the idle thumbs tradition that they started with the walking dead: s1 and gone home (edge said they were decade-defining so who am i to disagree) of making important games with half-life: alyx, if it does live up to its predecessors' legacies.
i don't have a gaming rig nor the money to buy a vr headset so i'm probably not going to play it until 2025, but i'm sure the campo santo folks will help make the game just as revolutionary as half-life 1, 2, twd, and gone home were!!!

This Shenmue quick look is excellent. There's a fantasy universe where we get an endurance run with all of East on it—add Vinny to this and definitely keep Abby and it would be perfection

Watching Ben play Sekiro and it seems like he hasn't learned the "In From games always evade to the right" method yet
But otherwise he's doing alright for someone who hasn't played the game in months. I hope we will see them stream the Sword-Saint Isshin fight. One because the fight is great and I want to see them getting mad at it.

Wait so people like Shenmue 3? Makes me wish I did actually buy the first two and play them.
I love Sekiro but it's the only FromSoft Soulslike where I finished it once, got about halfway through NG+ and went "I think I'm good". I hope their next game brings back builds and replayability.

If a normal video game is a potato, then Shenmue 3 is instant potato. It tastes kind of weird but it's really satisfying and fucking hell what am I doing to myself have you read the ingredients? I can't read, bro!
