High five… tho I still need the 2 other dlcs but now I'm also tempted to wait on the off chance the first one goes on sale alongside this release even tho I don't think it's likely
They've ruled out flying only monsters before so I'm not holding my breath on Rodan, Mothra or Batra. And I expect at least one deep pull like maybe Hedorah or Titanoaaurs or King Caesar
They've been teasing Gamera(and Eva a little) for a while. Keep buying dlc XD but we are down from a year between dlc to 6 months which is nice
The switch version is serviceable but inferior(note it's the version I use). The other 2 are more stable and have some more level of detail stuff.

Last one balanced eras(wanna say 1/2/1?) pretty well so should be a decent spread. But devs said on Twitter anyone who's fought Godzilla is game so there's only like 6 monsters top disqualified. King Ghidorah is pretty obviously teased in the announcement tho. Orga definitely wouldn't shock me. Would love something more out there like Hedorah, Zilla or Moguera tho
Considering how tight licensors were on recolors I wouldn't hold my breath. Also Mechagodzilla 1 wouldn't work as a skin for Kiryu at all
Thought about that. Almost wonder if the original MG is planned for this one.
So it's a really solid game somewhere between Powerstone and the GC/PS2/Xbox Godzilla games. 3 fun story modes a solid arcade and onslaught mode that just got expanded*, minigames, and of course it shines best playing with some friends.
The reveal had lightning which could point to: Megalon, Ghidorah, or Space Godzilla(least likely since it was yellow not purple).
Or maybe not, there's a huge debate this first teaser is just Ghidorah XD. To be fair the devs have said a flying only monster is a pain for how the game is setup

Looks like you can now fight against Godzilla and his buddies in Onslaught mode as of Patch 1.35.
Ooooo wonder if they were added to arcade too? Perhaps it was negotiated alongside this dlc?
They've teased the possibility of Pacific Rim, Gamera(quite a bit on this one actually) and even MM Power Rangers. They're definitely trying to get more. Tho hey that Ultraman pack was rad. In fact they've been saying the 2-packs should give them more freedom in licensing stuff(and were even discussing the idea as making Gamera easier)
Yeah it's very much a spiritual successor to the old Godzilla destroy all monsters melee type games and powerstone too. Also they've teased Ghidorah a bit, wouldn't be shocked.
