I read that too. Seem to be pretty dumb since in screen finger print sensors have been used for years now without issues.

Expected. I have yet to see a great implementation of the undeath the screen fingerprint sensor. It just needs to be passable.
Will it get me in in one or two passes and quickly 99% of the time? I'll be okay with that. My Pixel 3 sometimes goes weird and have to try a different finger or wipe it off.

I'll wait for other reviews before I worry too much, but this is what I was afraid of when I heard the fingerprint sensor was optical instead of ultrasonic.
After being disappointed in both my S20+ and Tab S7+, I was happy to find that the S21 Ultra's improved ultrasonic scanner is genuinely fantastic. Fast and reliable.

Wow, reviews are looking really good. Looks like I'm going to upgrade to the Pro from my Galaxy S10+. I was an old Nexus 6P owner and I loved it. Getting the same kind of vibes here.
man i might end up with 4 pixel 6 for our family plan. I ordered one for myself (425 off with s9+ tradein), 1 for my brother (trading in OP 6t for 300 off) and may order 2 more for my parents (450 off with s10+ tradeins)
