Yeah, gutterboy44 probably expressed my thoughts better. The system is rather opaque (I assume because they don't want people to game the SR system), but we need more metrics and data analysis of our progress so we can improve.

I was mostly surprised the game didn't reset my car mid-air. :^)That's amazing. I'm actually surprised the physics engine even handles it that well.

Anyone have a tune for the Alpha Romeo C Gr.4 for today's Kyoto park daily?
Yup I suspect they haven't shown any numbers so the system does not get abused. That being said what about this:
Posting mediocre QL to place you in lower parts of your class, making it easier for you to win the race and so up your DR quicker.
They've disabled tuning now.
The only advice I can give is to turn traction control as low as possible in that car. 1 or 0 and you should be able to set fast times.

Oh even better! Lol. I almost prefer not having to worry about tunes. Saves me a lot of time.
To add to this, brake bias can still be adjusted via the MDR settings HUD while driving. Bias is locked in the tune menu, but can be set on the fly which is either a bug or a fun secret. Many cars can get much better rotation without losing braking performance with a little rear brake bias. At Kyoto I was running 4 or 5 rear depending on the car and it can make a pretty big difference for getting turned in and back on the throttle quicker.
Nice, I'll have to try that. This is one of those things about tuning that the game never explains.
The TTS was quick in the closed beta N300 races and had incredible maneuverability with the right tune. I'm disappointed it's so mediocre in the one make races. The TTS... ugh. That thing is horrible in slower corners. It's like driving a wet noodle. I remember using it on Dragon Trail in the beta and it felt great there.
It's interesting that that car has turned into a bust while at the same time they clearly made zero effort to adjust the absurd imbalance of the Gr4 GT-R. The 4C to a lesser extent, too, where it really depends on the track. Gr3 feels relatively well balanced now with different cars suited for different tracks. Certainly better than having just a couple competitive options. The TTS was quick in the closed beta N300 races and had incredible maneuverability with the right tune. Do you have PSVR to add on to this? Even a half hour in VR using the DS4 on motion controls wears me out! And uh yeah, that 4C is undriveable on the standard controller without assists. I'm not even going to bother hunting down the last 2 seconds a lap slower I am on that .On one other random note, bloody hell using a wheel with this game can be physically taxing with some cars lol. The Alpha Gr.4 was eating me up after a while. I use a T300RS GT with torque and sensivity both set to 6, and my upper body and right hand/thumb was honestly a tad achey after this last several hour stint lol.

So what is everyone's car manufacturer of choice for the FIA event? I've been having a hard time deciding for one lol
This game's SR is fucking infuriating sometimes. Got slightly bumped from behind by another car trying an impossible overtake, my SR goes down (which leads to a demotion to B at the end of the race even though I got green SR the rest of the race) AND I get a 10 seconds penalty as well! Like, are you fucking kidding me?
Best trick shot I've seen, ever.
Just keep it simple. Have 3 dailies, and 3 weeklies. Will stop all the complaining.Yep, this is what I've been suggesting for a while. Have 3 races rotating daily or every couple of days and then 3 rotating on a weekly basis like we have had until now. Everyone would be happy that way, those who put 5-6 hours a day and those who play more casually
Dailies are actually dailies now.I've been out for the last two weeks, how have the updates been going? How often are they updating the daily races now?
whaaa that's awesome
Not to some players :P
I couldn't really get on with the Alpha Gr.4, I find the gearing too short and that it is also a tad tail happy or erratic. Swapped to the Cayman GT4 and I'm now putting out a much more consistent performance.
So I get the Toyota SFR racing concept and it has no interior? That is definitely jarring considering how high quality everything else is.
I still can't get rumble to work with G27, dunno what I'm doing wrong. The DS4 actually gives me better feedback of the road than the wheel.Got my GIMX adapter config setup correctly finally, so now I can use my G27 and Fanatec pedals with this game. Wow, what an improvement! I had been seriously struggling to get gold on the one lap Nordschleife circuit challenge with my best being a 7:05 (with the Dualshock). My new best with the wheel is a 6:54 lol.
