It's not just distance. Even if Kat is in range all the time and I'm adjusting her pose, the camera will automatically close if I don't fiddle with the zoom every few seconds.Hmm I don't remember that happening however Tripod mode is more like Kat using Stasis mode, that is, it needs to stay within a certain distance otherwise it closes. If you are quick you might snap a shot before it shuts off but yeah. It is frustrating because there is no warning that you are getting close to the limit or anything like that.
There are some gems in there. The side missions that are good to great are worth the ones that are shit.I'll always defend the side missions.
From a narrative standpoint.

I definitely got tired of the side missions. I finished all available ones after chapter 9, then I complete chapter 10 and bam, yet another 4 inconsequential side missions pop up. I skipped them and hopped straight into chapter 11. I just want to make some progress at this point.I can see why people have issues with the game, combat is not the best, but it's always been serviceable for me.
And I could see a lot of people just getting tired of some of the side missions.
I could have sworn you could do so in the original game, but perhaps I'm mistaken.Oh and you can finally fly freely between each city district. That's definitely an improvement.
I thought you couldn't, but perhaps the game was just stricter with the limits.I could have sworn you could do so in the original game, but perhaps I'm mistaken.
I HATED that!People in this game REALLY need to stop getting up dramtically from their seats if they're gonna tell me they don't know the place in the picture -_-
Yeah, that was a pain. I didn't find that one hard, but one slip up and you're fucked.I'm trying one of the very first side missions incalled something like Battle Nurse, and it's pissing me off something crazy. I'm supposed to run along a train track without falling off but cannot for the life of me do that simple task.Hekseville
Yep, the game really gets fun when you're switching styles on the fly and combining all your moves. When I learned that I could chain rocket jumps and even do them off walls, the game really opened up when it came to movement.Once you get rocket jumps down and start abusing quick shifts to other styles it becomes one of the most useful ways to traverse the environment.
I'd say play the first, it's pretty fun, and is straight mission after mission. No side content, minus challenges, ruining the pacing.Hmm, maybe I should play this down the line then, but maybe I should start with the first?
No, they don't.Do the pink crystals regenerate? I'm not sure if I'm getting the same ones or wandered into a completely new neighborhood.
I struggled a lot of with landing timing. Had to repeat that several times.
I struggled with that one too. I think it could have been a bit more generous with that. I was sort of hoping for more platforming segments too.I struggled a lot of with landing timing. Had to repeat that several times.
Damn, there's a lot of things to collect.
Yeah, Kat in the nurse outfit, and how excited she is at the end is worth the headache doing it.

Chaining rocket jumps is hype as fuck. That rolling kickoff that Kat does is awesome. It animates so seamless that I wonder if it was intended.Yep, the game really gets fun when you're switching styles on the fly and combining all your moves. What others have said, plus... you can fly.
but the more I look back at what Gravity Rush 2 was trying to say, the more I'm impressed at how well it weaved the politics of inequality, class, and immigration into a story about a girl who floats in the sky. Bravo.
