Movie premiered in Paris today and here are some of the thoughts of people.

"['Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3'] is probably the saddest & darkest MCU film & a wonderfully rounded conclusion to Gunn's trilogy, where everyone in the fight against a mean (but rather shallow) villain gets their big moment again. Have tissues ready!"

"I went with a preconceived idea to ['Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3'] and James Gunn has managed to surprise me for good. It is darker and has even touches of terror, but it is still very funny and with a lot of personality. Rocket and Nebula excel in a very dignified send-off."

Obligatory Comment about early reactions always being positive. But with Marvel lifting the Review Embargo one week before release they must be feeling pretty confident about this one. Good variety of comments given as well about the actors and the story too. As well as a mixture of people finding it hilarious and heartbreaking. Looking forward to this one.

If you are killing off Rocket, give him a great sendout.

Wait, already? I was thinking it wasn't until Thursday. It all sounds pretty good, not getting the cagey responses Ant-Man did at first.

Can't wait for it. Even though I feel like the MCU in general has felt a decline in recent years, I still have a lot of love for GotG.

Vol 2 is still the best MCU movie fight me if you disagree.

Of all the upcoming Marvel films, GotG3 probably has the highest chance of actually being good, but these are just random responses from reviewers working for pretty small local websites who were invited for a massive gala event at Disneyland Paris (the kind of event that definitely warps the perception of a movie). I wouldn't put much stock in any of these responses.

I loved Guardians 1, favourite MCU movie. The 2nd Guardians movie? Hated it. So yeh lol, hoping this is a return to form!

Fuck, I wanna watch this in IMAX, but I won't be able to do that until mid-June.

Guardians 1 was OK, Guardians 2 was pretty trash. By the 28375763th minute of the overlong insanely complex and boring action climax, I was ready to walk out.

BUT the pieces are all there for greatness and have always been. Love the characters, just the movies are never as good as the sum of their parts. Hope this one is different.

At least 1 of those reviews reads like it is a major spoiler. If you're worried about that sort of thing I'd probably be going on blackout now.

An MCU movie about getting head? Does that mean what I think it means, or did you change some English definitions while I wasn't looking?

I'd be more interested in more measured reactions, but don't see any

I probably should watch GOTG3

I haven't seen a Marvel movie since Endgame, but GOTG2 made me cry so I'll probably be there for one last ride

Twitter impressions don't matter, but considering how consistent Gunn is I would be shocked if Vol 3 got lukewarm reviews after the Holiday special reviewed well.
