I'm not feeling the "criticism" towards Halo Infinite graphics. It looks stunning on my 4k TV with Series X.
ACG said the same. The first 30 minutes don't give a great impression. The whole first two missions, intro, and setup feels…
Very bog-standard.
The repetitive, unoriginal ship/level design, the characters, the basics of the story, the MC personality immediately being back-to-business-cool-guy in 2 seconds flat.
Here's hoping the actual meat of the game doesn't follow this intro.
Correct. The enemy force was introduced in Halo Wars 2, but as long as you understand that they're "the bad guys", you're good to go.I'm playing the intro and just to be sure; everything that happens before you start playing is not something from Halo 5 or other kind of media, right? Because I have no clue whats going except for the things they tell you in game.

Anyone else feel kind of bad for the grunts? IDK...I think I'm getting really sensitive as I get older. They're just so cute and pathetic.
Heroic for sure. What's the best difficulty as someone who wants a bit of a challenge?
same it really needs to be an option even for pvp.. but at least they toned it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down.. it was sooo bad in 4 and even worse in 5.. a nice sound is better...Can I turn off the red cross in the reticule when I get a kill? For some reason it annoys me on the campaign.
I think they're bugged (shocking, I know). I'm sure one is for grappling enemies and mine got stuck on 96%.Is anyone not getting Achievements in the campaign? I was supposed to get one for finding my first audio log but I got nothing.
Good news. You can change the difficulty mid game. On the menu go to load game and it will give you the option there. After 2 missions and a bit of the 3rd there has been no challenge at all on Heroic and I'm a little worried at this point wondering if I should start over and bump it up to Legendary before I get too far.
Heroic has always given me a decent enough challenge in the old Halo games but here the enemies don't even seem to be trying to kill me.

Good looking out. ThanksPSA in the rewards app there is a punchcard for Halo and getting achievement for it.

The windows store redirects me to the xbox client, which doesn't download.
Edit: it just completed a 3 gig download and still remains unplayable.
Yeah, I started on Legendary and it feels like a slight step up from Heroic in the older games. After 2 missions and a bit of the 3rd there has been no challenge at all on Heroic and I'm a little worried at this point wondering if I should start over and bump it up to Legendary before I get too far.

Anyone able to buy a physical copy from Walmart? I'm at the store but an employee told me they don't have received any.
Omg my butt is getting kicked on heroic looAfter 2 missions and a bit of the 3rd there has been no challenge at all on Heroic and I'm a little worried at this point wondering if I should start over and bump it up to Legendary before I get too far.
