Well my 2 year old build doesn't meet the recommended specs anymore.
Guess I'll play on Series X

I'm not too concerned, with my hardware, but as often the case, this information is of limited value without resolution and fps targets for the corresponding "miminum" and "recommended" settings.

They're not saying what do they target with the requirements. I hate that so much.

I meet the recommended.....barely. I'll try it on my PC just to see, but I plan to play it on Series X.

It's really weird to be looking at PC requirements for a Halo game launching on PC day one.

This is the first time the recommended CPU is exactly the same as the one I have, GPU wise I'm one graphics card over.

You're probably fine if you're beneath these specs though, it didn't really look that graphical demanding. I guess they want to be on the safe side with recommendations.

I hope my R5 3600 can squeeze all of my 3070 to 1080@144hz on Campaign..... I hope

Considering how this game looks and that it's also coming to Xbox One those recommended specs seem a bit laughable. They are even over what DICE is suggesting for Battlefield 2042! But maybe they really beefed up the campaign graphics?

My pc does not meet even minimum specs (apart from gpu and storage), strange, considering there will be even xbox one version..

I know that we don't have the targets listed or anything, but at face value those recommended specs are steep and don't alleviate concerns about the game coming in hot and unoptimized.

I thought Cyberpunk seemed relatively conservative in its recommended specs last year, but that was a near unplayable nightmare on my OC'd 4770k. Hopefully MS is at least being honest in what makes for a good experience.

Just made it over the recommended specs with my 9900K, 32GB and 2080 8GB! I was getting 60fps with all settings maxed out in the multiplayer beta but good to see that it should be the same during campaign.

Microsoft usually releases requirements for multiple targets. I'm sure they'll do that closer to release.

Jeez, not even a year has passed and the PC I built doesn't hit "recommended" requirements any longer.

Should spent the extra $100 on the 5700XT. Dammit.
A 5700XT is basically in line with XSX GPU performance. They weren't likely to have recommended settings at anything less than that. If you go for an entry level GPU at less than console spec then this is what happens.

I'm literally right at recommended (3700X/5700XT, SSD), but I just preordered the LE Series X, so I'll be right there with it.

Ah well, my CPU and GPU are really showing their age now. i5 7600K and a 1060 6GB. I meet minimum at least but definitely not hitting recommended.

I need so badly to upgrade the CPU and GPU soon. The 1060 has done me well but it was a budget card back when I bought it, let alone now.

Those recommended specs are basically a Series X.
Well the Series X is supposed to be a bit better than a normal 2070, but a 3700x has higher boost clock than Series X

Yup, I know it's essential for the info page for games, but it gives no indication of how well you're going to run the game at minum or recommended xd.
It could still look like ass on recommended (for example, not saying that's the case).
