I hear this sound a lot in electronic music and I'd like to know what's it called, so I can use it for my own music.
Maybe someone can help me identify its name.

Here are two examples:
Markvard - Memories - sound starts at 0:45

Tove Lo - Talking Body Griffin Remix - sound starts at 0:51

To be more precise, I'm not asking which actual device or software is used to produce that sound when recording these specific songs, I want to find out what that type of 'voice' is called in edm composers language so I can try to replicate it for my own midis.

The plucked sound? Not sure on the name exactly but it's really just built with cutoff and reverb. The source sound isn't really even all that important and has a lot of room for experimentation

Thanks a lot people for pointing me in the right direction, seems like I'll have to learn to do this pluck thing with my keyboard and emulate a guitar until I get the sound.

It's a relatively basic sawtooth pluck

The "pluck" is more about the volume envelope characteristic of the sound. The "sawtooth" is the digital waveform(s) that make up the sound. Like how you can have a guitar pluck, or a plucked piano sound, or plucked square wave, etc.

Doesn't sound like a the pluck of a guitar sample to me. Quite certain these are sawtooth plucks generated by a VST/synth which can sometimes give off some vibes of a plucked guitar.

This guy goes through the steps to create that type of sound. I would imagine it will answer your questions

lol @ MikeHattsu, I can only dream to reach those heights someday
Anyway, the closest voice I found on my keyboard is 'Sawtooth lead' and I could have worked with that, if only my device could export midi, it seems I need a new piano too lol.
