I apologize if this thread is in poor taste, it's not like me to do so.

But well, DelToro just won his Oscars for Best Director and Picture for The Shape of Water.

And to think, he and Kojima could have been working on Silent Hills...

Yeah, still bitter. Fuck Konami! :(

Del Toro is a really good director who exists apart from Hideo Kojima.

Konami could have had a game made by BEST DIRECTOR OF THE BEST PICTURE, Guillermo Del Toro! so proud of my favorite director right now

Sometimes I often wonder if gamers actually do things outside of life

Like god /damn/ how do you operate with this mindset

While I'm all for FucKonami... what does Guillermo del Toro winning an award for his movie have to do with Kojima or Konami?

Still need to watch the Shape of Water, it looks phenomenal.

Here's hoping Pacific Rim 2 is just as good as the first one.

Cancelling Silent Hills pushed Del Toro to direct the P.T. inspired Shape of Water movie. That said, I believe that Del Toro should giveaway the Oscar to Kojima-san considering that Kojima-san himself is the one who created P.T/Silent Hills.

There are probably better ways to present this sentiment than to create a thread to say "fuck Konami"

The Fuck Konami thing feels like it would be great if it were actually about victimization of most of Konami's employees and not just "I didn't get Silent Hill."
