I love when companies do this. Yeah it's kinda cheesy but it's so wholesome! Especially love the artwork of Spidey with Kratos, Atreus, and Aloy. I hope they continue to add characters as Bend, Sucker Punch, and Naughty Dog release their next big titles.

I mean, I understand studios from Sony doing that since they're under the same umbrella but other companies and such is strange when other studios launches many games during the year and you don't see the same thing happening.

i honestly thought i was the only one. never really cared about spiderman in general, but i can always enjoy a good game. its also cool seeing other devs being supportive of other's work.

I'm assuming you have played at least a few hours of the game before a statment like that...
The game has received nothing but praise ever since the reveal, with great showings at the main conferences. It's a spiderman game done right, by an amazong studio.

What intrigues me are companies not related to Sony doing that for them but you don't see that happening with other releases in that companies are making tweets for games not made by them. Like, hundreds of games came this year but few of them had this. lol

I haven't played the game but by all accounts of what I've read and seen of the game it does everything that you want a Spider-Man game to do. It captures the player fantasy perfectly. And it just so happens that Spider-Man is an insanely popular character so... It really isn't that surprising at all.

Also I don't think a game needs to be ground breaking or innovative as long as it succeeds at what it tries to do and it does it in a fun way. People just want a good Spider-Man game.

It's not that I just disagree it's that this game doesn't do anything really fundementally different than previous spiderman games.

It has better graphics and a slightly better combat system borrowed from batman but nothing here is groundbreaking.

God of war deserved it's praise for changing its core into a completely different game and being good.
This is just same ol same ol but modernized.
