How many movies do you think you have watched? (Poll inside)

No clue how to even estimate this but I suspect I'm on the low side compared to most people here. I watched more when I was younger but these days I rarely see much out there that interests me. And I just tend to prefer to spend my spare time on other things.

It'll certainly be less than the number of games I've played in my life which I can estimate with some accuracy because I do track what I play, that's around 800 or so.

I am at least on 2463 from my Icheckmovies account. Might go over 3000 if I'd go through the entire list and double check. But that's waaay to much work.

Saw the 3000+ option and thought that I probably haven't seen quite that many, but then I decided to do some generic math. If I've averaged three movies a week (it comes in waves though, sometimes nothing in one week, then a bunch), then I have probably hit at least that many, although it's hard to say how many of those were unique views. I've seen quite a few films more than once. So if nothing else, I've seen at least somewhere between 2000 - 3000, if not more.

Haven't been tracking but I would guess that it's at least 3,000. I watch around 2-3 movies per week and sometimes it's more than that (e.g., during COVID, and weekend movie marathons during winter, etc.).

When I was a child I was obsessed with movies. So much so that I watched every movie that aired on TV. Sometimes I had both my own and my parents' VCR taping movies at the same time so I would not miss out on movies that aired on different channels at the same time. I pretty much watched 5 movies a week (at least) for something like ten years. I've slowed down a lot since then but I do have around 1,000 movies in my physical collection today.

When I used to keep track back in the early '00s, it was in the 8-9,000 range even then. My movie intake slowed drastically after 2010, so things probably aren't too much higher than that now.

Thousands. Always been a big movie watcher. My dad always had a big screen TV, surround system, and the latest tech. He had a laser disc with at least 100 movies. He was there day fucking one for DVD. My friends would come over on the weekends and we'd rent shit. So, yeah, since I was like 5 I have been watching shit non-stop.

I have 6678 films logged on Letterboxd but that also includes some shorts and tv series. It's probably still 6000+ feature-length films.

I have imported the ratings from my old IMDb account to Letterboxd so that number does include like 99.9% of the stuff I have watched.

Letterboxd tells me I've logged 1200 in the past 4 years alone and I haven't logged things I've seen prior to that. Considering I'm 40, I have to imagine the number is really high.
