Probably around $200 steam directly, maybe $300ish including steam key GOG site and Amazon. I try not to get Steam versions of games.

$1,164.36 since 2010, although I've registered a decent amount of codes bought elsewhere.

Do people really spend that much on PC games or are some of you using an account value estimator instead of the purchase history within Steam?

Hopefully this is just Steam going nutters because of the games I've gotten through bundles.

Around 4000$ - jeez. I should not have looked at that.

But in the grand scheme of things, that's like over 10 years of purchases so I guess it's not that bad.

$8,954 since 2003.
EDIT:
Ran the numbers real quick, TotalSpend definitely includes OldSpend. I didn't think the numbers made sense if Old wasn't included in Total, and it turns out I was right.

Oh, okay. $5,225 TotalSpend then.

I don't think I actually bought anything digitally on Steam until 2007, though. I just had the account that early because it was required to continue playing Counter-Strike and other Half-Life mods after the WON servers were shut off. I didn't even buy Half-Life 2 on Steam, I just used it to activate the retail CDs.

OldSpend sounds about right but TotalSpend must be fucked up. I haven't really bought that many new games on Steam post-2015. Maybe bundles/sales aren't being accounted for?

$2,481 directly on Steam, but I've bought a lot on 3rd party sites as well. According to SteamDB, my actual total is somewhere between $3600 and $13,000 based on everything in my library and lowest recorded vs current full price. I would say my true spend is probably around $4,000 given that I do tend to not buy stuff until it' hits lowest recorded, and the bulk of my 1,000+ game library was gotten at around $5/game.

345€ over the past 12 month.
762 games in the library ( I'd guess at least half of them not bought on steam )
Account created in 2008.

$499

huh, that's less than I thought. I bet it goes up a hundred or so if we count external keys though.

$6122 (Sales prices) — $23198 (Total prices)

I've never purchased a game at full price and a lot of games I have gotten per bundles or for free/gifts.

So likely I would say....going by how much I paid for games on Steam since I started buying them...

I would say the figure is closer to $2,000 to $3,000 (this includes combination of games bought on Steam and off third parties like Humble Bundle, GMG, Fanatical, IndieGala, GamersGate, etc)

I've probably spent somewhere around that much for console/portable gaming as well in the same time frame if not more.

But between consoles/portables which I have been buying games for 25+ years I bought/received around 600 or so console/portable games compared to the last 8 years I've gotten into PC gaming I bought/received around 2,000+ games.

25+ years = 600+ console/portable games
8 years = 2,000+ PC games

$4830 *sigh*
*deep sigh*

Only one regret, the beginner's guide.
Everything else i've played, enjoyed and finished, so it's at least that. I don't sleep on a backlog.

Only about $1200, which surprises me given the size of my library and backlog on Steam. Apparently my first purchase was Half-Life 1: Source in 2008, but I think my account is about a year older than that since I had the Orange Box I guess a number of the smaller things in there I actually got through Humble Bundle though.

I'm going off...https://help.steampowered.com/en/accountdata/AccountSpend which sounds about accurate. Considering how i've been gaming on PC for eight years now it's about $150 a year, which is honestly a pretty okay amount in my opinion.

$323, but I think I spent more since I bought games by humble bundle and other external sites not called G2A.

Total Spend has me at
$654.89 US

But that can't be right, can it? Does it take into the account of games in my library I got from Humble at discount prices? Is it applying those games as full price games or whatever they were priced at Steam at the time?

$8,682.86 on 2082 games. 17% average completion rate. Account Value $6229 — $21591 Average game price $11.52. 8,341 hours played.
March 2010 was this account. Had one with Half-Life originally, but gave it to my dad.
Edit: I've only purchased 14 games in 2019. Slowed down quite a bit. Had an issue around 2011-2012 with buying games.

Er, $2,366.00 apparently.

I've had my account since half life 2 came out. So that is about $150 per year. But I probably spent 80% of it since 2010. So its more like $250 per year. When I annualise it, it doesn't seem that bad.

I dont want to think about how much I've spent on hardware to play this $2,366 worth of software. Many multiples of that.

Kinda puts it into perspective.

I'm honestly embarrassed. Considering I only really buy things when they're on sale, that number is utterly ridiculous. I'm a wreck.

Steam says U$ 733.17, though accounting bundles and other sites it would come close to 800-850 IMO. Decent amount for a 10yrs+ account.

Probably over a grand over the years, but a lot of the games I bought on sale or in Humble Bundles.

$1600.. would be really nice if that was accurate, but no way it's. I bet half of my games were keys from other sites which apparently didn't count

$7,804 since 2005. Not too bad, seems about in line with other Steam users who've had their account as long.
