Edit: some rough math puts you at 600 a month over that timespan so roughly 300 per check. There's better ways to use your money of course but I don't see that as wholly bad. Now if on the flip side you have 0 in savings and eat cup noodle three meals a day then I would be judging.

To each their own but when I look at stuff like that all I can think about it is losing it, moving with it, having it all get old and fall apart... I don't know. Not for me, I'd rather spend it on good food, travel, and maybe one really high-end gaming setup.
