Context for people who don't know what this thread is hinting at: the most recent weekly Japanese sales thread spun wildly out of control, a lot of people were banned, at least one moderator quit, and the person who has been making the weekly threads here and going back years on the old site apparently isn't posting here anymore. It's a mess.

The fact mods and staff let two communities go away thanks to their lack of actions and self-reflection.
Nightmare for them?.. If anything nightmare for the members and communities they've completely abandon over time. Literally had a mod in that threw promise favors if people took their sides, and when called out, had a meltdown..
A community that existed for over 15 years has been virtually extinguished in a few days, but sure, it's a nightmare for them

There has been relative radio silence from the mods/admins in this community since the incident as far as I know and the thread was deleted from existence. I think the ERA community at large has a right to hear what is going on right now.
Not really sure if a thread like this is necessary but the talk needs to happen.
The mods actually responded in the topic yesterday but never unlocked it so no one even saw the response.
