Injustice 2 - Scrapped Characters Concept Art - Etrigan, Blue Bird, Krypto and more

Found on reddit.

Seems Etrigan, Blue Bird, Krypto, Constatine, Detective Chimp and even Penguin were supposed to be DLC characters for Injustice 2, but eventually got scrapped.

Rather they take their time with MK11 so that their employees don't have to do 6+ months of crunch again .

Second. He was initially made for DLC, but WB thought no one would care for him so he got cut.

Which is real upsetting considering Black Lightning made it in.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. NRS is completely owned by Warner Bros., who wouldn't want to aid the enemy. And before you say LEGO Marvel, that license was obtained by LEGO prior to the games.

I'm kinda glad Etrigan didn't make it in. He's a Gothic, rhyming demon made by Jack Kirby and if the writers of this game got their hands on him he'd probably turn evil after punching off Klarion the Witch Boy's head or something.

Some of the faces were so weird. They stole Tatiana Maslany's face for Catwoman and thrn had her sound like she came out of a 60s cartoon.

Injustice 2 is one of my favorite fighting games of all time and, while these look great, I'm kinda excited for them to maybe adopt a different (potentially more colorful) aesthetic within the DC Universe. Still, throw all of these characters into a new game, sure.
