Options are better. The lack of flexibility is what will kill Stadia compared to the likes of PSNow and xCloud.
Yep. It's all about options. Don't force anything on consumers. Let them see the benefits/limitations of these new technology and gradually turn their opinions like they have with digital.

I assume data for other industries would be similar... Wasn't DVD sales already at a low time low when netflix took off? Wasn't music sales also having a hard time first when iTunes came along and them even itunes was falling when Spotify took the market?

In short, just because people didn't spend money on buying boxed stuff that was available before does not mean they aren't going to spend money on a service that for a lowly monthly value gives them an all of you can eat buffet.
