Can't stand him, so boring to watch. His less boring in a role with less dialogue and that's why his acceptable in Mad Max.

I think we can all agree that at the very least, he is the most Tom Hardy you can get in an actor for the money.

Great actor but he has moments when he tries to be way too "quirky". I recently watched him in BBC Masterpiece Theater's Wuthering Heights and he was pretty ridiculous. It was not good.

He's the most memorable role in Dunkirk for me and he's barely got any dialogue.

Does a great character arc in Mad Max with barely any dialogue.

Great actor, he can be a bit hit and miss but he's never not interesting to watch.

Yeah good actor but very much one of those annoying mumblers like Matthew McConaughey.

Taboo is Tom Hardy at its best or worse, I dunno... It could be hilarious though even if the subject was as bleak as possible

I think he is terrific and will watch anything he is in. However I can see how his style might not be everyone's cup of tea.

Most people don't even know what acting actually is, let alone possessing the sound ability to assess an actor for their craft, tbh. The answer, however, is yes. Tom Hardy is a good actor.

He was great as Shocker in Homecoming and Captain Boomerang in Suicide Squad.

Which one is Yes and which one is No?

he's amazing in TInker Tailor Soldier Spy, so I'm going with Yes.

Yeah he's good.

I want him to be the next Wolverine, but he's already Venom and Max + prolly too old now (42) compared to when Jackman started the role (around 30) .

He's intense to say the least, sometimes that works, other times it may come off as hammy and over the top. But he's still a solid actor who puts in a lot of effort, and he can salvage even awful films like The Dark Knight Rises.
