An anniversary last an entire year in a marketing cycle.

I expect any major AE announcement to take place by the end of the year or early next year.

Siren world, Monster Hunter world, Toro and Kuro etc.

Ape Escape 4 would make an amazing PS5 launch title.

But for now, I'll take Ape Escape Trilogy on PS4, with the same love and care that was put into the Crash and Spyro collections.

Just don't fuck up the music like the PSP version of the original Ape Escape did. Ugh,.

PS5 remake akin to Crash/Spyro/MediEvil, I feel that it's a bit too late launching a new game now when this generation is nearly wrapping up.

Although I do have the suspicious feeling we'll hear an announcement around the 25th anniversary of the PlayStation brand but that's just me. But if not around there then maybe at a PS Meeting sometime next year.

I think titles that appeal to children (like Ape Escape and Lego) will be PS4-focused longer than, say, Horizon 2. I expect Crash 4 to launch on the PS4 for the same reason.

The original Ape Escape is one of the finest games of its gen. It's among the first of Sony's first-party titles to be regarded as a killer app upon release.

At the height of this nostalgia craze, why wouldn't Sony bring it back. If a mere team of 25 people can make a veritable VR platforming classic in the span of a year, then surely there are some folks at Japan Studio that can do Ape Escape justice in this day and age.

Man, I really hope all this teasing isn't for nothing.
