Lots of stories about him pursuing underage girls.
Lots of stories about him pursuing underage girls.
I think he's playing Morbius.Lol isn't Leto getting his own movie as well or is that just a sequel to Suicide Squad?
Aggressively chasing short term profits rather than taking their time to tell good stories.
The sheer hubris of rushing into a justice league movie directly after the total car crash of BvS says it all. Feels like the suits making decisions don't care about the quality of the movies, they just want to get movies out as quickly as possible.
Which they shouldn't have done.Less hubris and more unavoidable calamity... they started filming/pruduction what, weeks after BvS?
We didn't have two people playing Spider-Man at the same time though.3 different Joker actors in 10-15 years.
Then again, we had 3 different Spider-Man actors in 15 years too.
That's pretty exciting; Phoenix is one of the best living actors. Pretty meh about the origin angle, if there's a villain that doesn't need one it's Joker.
I'm thinking/hoping "origin" story is a catch all term for a solo focused story rather than what made him crazy. The casting is inspired, but what a stupid boring idea. Of all of the comic book villains to do an origin story for.
Leto is still the Joker in the DCEUim so confused now.
So Leto isn't going to be the joker anymore?
Are they rebooting the entire DCU?
Does that mean no more Cavill Supes?
Yep.WB/DC officially have no fucking idea what the fuck they are doing with DC movies.
Man this is going to be interested to see how it's going to work, and if the audiences get confused or not. It's a stand alone movie that will be under the rumored 'DC Dark' imprint
Because the other DC movies are so light in tone.Leto is still the Joker in the DCEU
They are not rebooting anything
Cavill Supes is still happening
This Joker movie is NOT in the DCEU. It's a stand alone movie that will be under the rumored 'DC Dark' imprint. This movie is also rumored to be set in the 80's.
It will be interesting to see how different his Joker will be from Ledger's. Sure he'll try to do something different.
Dunno how that would work without batman.
I remember the rumor a were Nolan was deciding between Heath and Robin Williams. Having only 1989's Jack Nicholson as reference I thought Williams was an obvious shoe in for the role and remember going "what? The gay cowboy will be the Joker!?"He definitely got the skills for it.
I'll wait for a trailer or first picture to judge more clearly.
I remember being hesitant regarding Heath and we all know how that turned out.
