At least Marvel films are more mature than the Paw Patrol franchise whose target demographic you're clearly part of.
Why not just be happy a movie you liked did well instead of being so aggro miserable and hyperbolic?

People like it when the things they like succeed. Because then the company will make more things like the thing they like.
He has a point, its a relief to see a comic book movie reject the Marvel formula and achieve spectacular results, hope we see more studios back original stories that can stand on their own.
Fun fact: the film is as profitable as Infinity War.
It was a dull, shallow slog of a movie that is nowhere near as smart as it likes to think it is, utterly failing at aping the Scorsese movies that it so wants to be. Just go watch The King of Comedy instead.
Disney is notoriously bad at budgeting their films. They just just get saved every year because of Marvel/SW/Pixar.

On Box Office Mojo The Joker is at 771 million while The Matrix Reloaded is at 742 million for internatioal. reloaded is still higher for domestic.
It's really a movie you need to see yourself so you can form your own opinion on it.

Because they still gotta do it twenty more times in a row to catch up to Marvel.
